Norland Optical Adhesive 61 is a clear, colorless, liquid photopolymer that will cure when exposed to ultraviolet light. Since it is a one part system and 100% solids, it offers many advantages in bonding where the adhesive can be exposed to U.V. light. The use of NOA 61 eliminates premixing, drying or heat curing operations common to other adhesive systems. Curing time is remarkably fast, and is dependent upon the thickness applied and the amount of ultraviolet light energy available.


NOA 61 meets Federal Specification MIL-A-3920 for optical adhesives and is approved for use on all government contracts specifying such adhesives. The adhesive is designed to give the best possible optical bond to glass surfaces, metals, fiberglass and glass filled plastics. NOA 61 is recommended for bonding lenses, prisms and mirrors for military, aerospace and commercial optics as well as for terminating and splicing optical fibers.

Uncooled and affordable, fast and robust, the compact size TACHYON 16K CAMERA models are optimal for volume requirements and targeted for full integration in Industry 4.0 applications. Both TACHYON 16K CAMERA and CAMERA PLUS models are based on NIT’s TACHYON 16K FPA (Focal Plane Array), sensitive in the 1 µm to 5 µm spectral range. This FPA utilizes VPD PbSe, entirely developed and manufactured by NIT, providing the first quantum infrared technology monolithically compatible with Si-CMOS circuitry. With on-chip A/D readout electronics as well as on-chip dark current cancellation circuit and a digital interface for control and data, the TACHYON 16K FPA features global shutter snapshot readout of 14 Bit raw data and a programmable integration time between 20 µs and 1,000 µs. NIT’s TACHYON 1024 microCAMERA  is an uncooled MWIR camera with an IP67-rated enclosure for industrial environments. The camera is powered through a USB 2.0 (high speed) interface with industrial M12 USB connector and capable to reach a frame rate of 1,000 fps. Its miniaturized size, based in a SWaP-C concept, ensures perfect integration into the production process. The TACHYON 1024 microCAMERA is based on NIT’s TACHYON 1024 FPA, an uncooled 32x32 VPD PbSe focal plane array with digital interface and high-speed capabilities up to 10,000 images per second, sensitive in the 1 µm to 5 µm spectral range. They are air insulated, fast response, chassis-mount units with tight regulation and extremely low arc discharge currents. The MQ Series is a family of sophisticated, medium-power, high voltage AC/DC power supplies that complies with current international safety and EMI directives. The result is a power supply series that offers outstanding value for a wide range of demanding applications. The MQ series features “air” as the primary dielectric medium. No oil or encapsulation is used which would impede serviceability or increase weight. Internal circuitry constantly senses and integrates arcs that occur over a given time. In the event a system or load arcing problem develops and exceeds factory-set parameters, the power supply will cycle off in an attempt to clear the fault and then automatically restart after a preset “off dwell time”. The MQ Series’ high voltage output is inhibited for a short period after each load arc to help extinguish the arc. Ripple is less than 0.025% of rated voltage at full load. Continuous, stable adjustment from 0 to rated voltage or current by panel-mounted 10-turn potentiometer with 0.05% resolution or by external 0 to 10 V signals is provided.
