Super Gamut™ Series Spectrometers
UV-NIR; 190-2500 nm; Resolution 1-20 nm; InGaAs or CCD Array Detector; Integration Time 20 µs-60 s; Interface USB 2.0
BaySpec’s SuperGamut™ series of UV, visible (VIS), near-infrared (NIR), and short-wave-infrared (SWIR) spectrometers are designed to meet real-world challenges for best-in-class performance, long-term reliability, compact size and ultra-low power consumption.
Benefiting from experience manufacturing high-volume spectral monitoring devices for the telecommunications industry, BaySpec’s spectral devices utilize low-cost field proven components. For the first time in instrumentation history an affordable, accurate and ruggedized spectral device is a reality.
The SuperGamut™ Series spectrometers employ highly efficient Volume Phase Gratings (VPG®) as core spectral dispersion elements (concave holographic diffraction grating for SuperGamut™ UV-NIR spectrometer), providing rapid acquisition (“one-shot”) with high spectral resolution, high-speed parallel processing, and continuous spectrum measurements. As an input, the devices use a fiber optic input or slit optics arrangement based on customer preferences.
The signal is spectrally dispersed with the grating, and the diffracted field is focused onto an ultra-sensitive InGaAs or CCD array detector as the detection element. The control electronics read out the processed digital signal to extract required information. Both the raw data and the processed data are available to the host.
Within the SuperGamut™ series of spectrometers, five versions are available:
SuperGamut™ UVIS UV-NIR Spectrometer (190 nm to 1080 nm)
SuperGamut™ UVIS UV-SWIR Spectrometer (190 nm to 2500 nm)
SuperGamut™ VNIR VIS-NIR Spectrometer (400 nm to 1100 nm)
SuperGamut™ NIRS SWIR Spectrometer (900 nm to 1700 nm)
SuperGamut™ NIRS NIR Spectrometers (900 nm to 2500 nm)
BaySpec’s SuperGamut™ series benchtop spectrometers incorporate spectrometer(s), light source(s), and sampling optics into one turn-key system – providing features like optimized TEC cooling, fast f/2 or f/3 optics for improved throughput with fiber input, factory calibration, fiber- or free-space input options as well as Windows®-based software for turn-key operation. These benchtop spectrometers are customizable for single or multiple fiber probes, please contact the AMS Technologies spectrometer experts for further details and a quote for your benchtop spectrometer solution.
