Super Gamut™ Series Spectrometers

Product information "Super Gamut™ Series Spectrometers"

UV-NIR; 190-2500 nm; Resolution 1-20 nm; InGaAs or CCD Array Detector; Integration Time 20 µs-60 s; Interface USB 2.0

BaySpec’s SuperGamut™ series of UV, visible (VIS), near-infrared (NIR), and short-wave-infrared (SWIR) spectrometers are designed to meet real-world challenges for best-in-class performance, long-term reliability, compact size and ultra-low power consumption.

Benefiting from experience manufacturing high-volume spectral monitoring devices for the telecommunications industry, BaySpec’s spectral devices utilize low-cost field proven components. For the first time in instrumentation history an affordable, accurate and ruggedized spectral device is a reality.

The SuperGamut™ Series spectrometers employ highly efficient Volume Phase Gratings (VPG®) as core spectral dispersion elements (concave holographic diffraction grating for SuperGamut™ UV-NIR spectrometer), providing rapid acquisition (“one-shot”) with high spectral resolution, high-speed parallel processing, and continuous spectrum measurements. As an input, the devices use a fiber optic input or slit optics arrangement based on customer preferences.

The signal is spectrally dispersed with the grating, and the diffracted field is focused onto an ultra-sensitive InGaAs or CCD array detector as the detection element. The control electronics read out the processed digital signal to extract required information. Both the raw data and the processed data are available to the host.

Within the SuperGamut™ series of spectrometers, five versions are available:

BaySpec’s SuperGamut™ series benchtop spectrometers incorporate spectrometer(s), light source(s), and sampling optics into one turn-key system – providing features like optimized TEC cooling, fast f/2 or f/3 optics for improved throughput with fiber input, factory calibration, fiber- or free-space input options as well as Windows®-based software for turn-key operation. These benchtop spectrometers are customizable for single or multiple fiber probes, please contact the AMS Technologies spectrometer experts for further details and a quote for your benchtop spectrometer solution.

UV-NIR; 200-1750 nm; Resolution 0.05-50.0 nm; Sensitivity 38,000-665,000 Counts/µW per ms Integration Time; CMOS or InGaAs Array Detector; Interface USB 2.0; 95x68x20 mmMiniature spectroscopy redefined – that's what Avantes considers the CompactLine series spectrometers. The new generation, Avantes’ AvaSpec-Mini MK-II series (AvaSpec-Mini2048CL and AvaSpec-Mini4096CL) is definitely one of the smallest types of spectrometers on the market today. In cases where size matters, the AvaSpec CompactLine family offers spectrometers with the smallest form factor – only the size of a deck of cards. This enables easier integration of Avantes’ spectrometers into machines and handheld devices.Squeezing down the size hardly compromises the performance of the instruments but limits the customer a bit in the number of possible configurations. This instrument with excellent temperature and wavelength stability is easy to take anywhere you like and very well suited for handheld applications. The AvaSpec-Mini-CL series with CMOS detectors and advanced electronics and communications can be equipped with a 2048-pixel CMOS detector (AvaSpec-Mini2048CL) or Avantes’ first-to-the-market 4096-pixel array (AvaSpec-Mini4096CL). And the AvaSpec-Mini-NIR is a compact near-infrared spectrometer with InGaAs detector, based on Avantes’ popular AvaSpec-NIR256-1.7-EVO NIRLine series spectrometer.Enjoy the speed and enhanced native UV/NIR response of CMOS with an incredible resolution of up to 0.09 nm unavailable anywhere else. The low stray light design allows stray light levels from as low as 0.2% and the fast response time boasts data transfer speeds as fast as 4.6 ms/scan and integration times ranging from 30 to 50 s.Customization is possible when adequate volumes are needed. This makes the CompactLine especially suited for OEM users wanting to integrate a spectrometer into their own devices. To learn more about all the available options and to find the perfect setup that matches your needs, please contact AMS Technologies to discuss your wishes with our sales engineers. The possibilities are virtually endless! For customers with urgent needs and general flexibility in their specifications, Avantes keeps a variety of preconfigured AvaSpec-Mini-CL series CompactLine spectrometers in stock so they are readily available within a significantly decreased shipping time.
