AvaSpec CompactLine Spectrometers

Product information "AvaSpec CompactLine Spectrometers"

Miniature spectroscopy redefined – that's what Avantes considers the CompactLine series spectrometers. The new generation, Avantes’ AvaSpec-Mini MK-II series (AvaSpec-Mini2048CL and AvaSpec-Mini4096CL) is definitely one of the smallest types of spectrometers on the market today.

In cases where size matters, the AvaSpec CompactLine family offers spectrometers with the smallest form factor – only the size of a deck of cards. This enables easier integration of Avantes’ spectrometers into machines and handheld devices.

Squeezing down the size hardly compromises the performance of the instruments but limits the customer a bit in the number of possible configurations. This instrument with excellent temperature and wavelength stability is easy to take anywhere you like and very well suited for handheld applications.

The AvaSpec-Mini-CL series with CMOS detectors and advanced electronics and communications can be equipped with a 2048-pixel CMOS detector (AvaSpec-Mini2048CL) or Avantes’ first-to-the-market 4096-pixel array (AvaSpec-Mini4096CL). And the AvaSpec-Mini-NIR is a compact near-infrared spectrometer with InGaAs detector, based on Avantes’ popular AvaSpec-NIR256-1.7-EVO NIRLine series spectrometer.

Enjoy the speed and enhanced native UV/NIR response of CMOS with an incredible resolution of up to 0.09 nm unavailable anywhere else. The low stray light design allows stray light levels from as low as 0.2% and the fast response time boasts data transfer speeds as fast as 4.6 ms/scan and integration times ranging from 30 to 50 s.

Customization is possible when adequate volumes are needed. This makes the CompactLine especially suited for OEM users wanting to integrate a spectrometer into their own devices. Device Length 20, 40 m; Center Wavelength 1546.69 nm; Wavelength Range 40 nm; Dynamic Range 15, 70 dB The Luna 6415 lightwave component analyzer is a fast and simple-to-use analyzer for passive optical components and modules, extending Luna’s industry-leading optical frequency domain reflectometry (OFDR) platform to manufacturing test and quality control applications. Unlike traditional passive component testers, Luna 6415 measures and analyzes the insertion loss (IL) and return loss (RL) distribution as well as length with a single instrument, working in either reflection or transmission. The Luna 6415 lightwave component analyzer utilizes optical frequency domain reflectometry (OFDR) technology to measure backscattered or transmitted light as a function of distance. The system features extremely high sensitivity, 20 μm spatial sampling resolution and very fast scanning for high test throughput, making it an ideal testing tool for photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and silicon photonics. By integrating both reflection and transmission measurements, Luna 6415 reduces the cost and complexity of test while increasing throughput and provides more complete test coverage of your component. The Luna 6415 lightwave component analyzer further simplifies your manufacturing test with an integrated tunable laser source , automated IL and RL calculations, self-calibration and very high scanning speeds for greater test throughput.
