NOA 1328 Optical Adhesive 2g syringe

Product information "NOA 1328 Optical Adhesive 2g syringe"

Refractive Index 1.328; 2000-3000 cps Viscosity at 25°C

Norland Optical Adhesive 1328 is clear liquid adhesive that will cure when exposed long wavelength ultraviolet light. NOA 1328 is recommended for bonding for glass to glass. Adhesion is also good to cellulose acetate butyrate. NOA 1328 is cured by ultraviolet or visible light between 320 to 450 nm. Full cure requires 6 Joules/cm 2 . The adhesive exhibits oxygen inhibition when used as a coating. To overcome this the adhesive must be cured under an inert atmosphere, such as nitrogen.

Keep NOA 1328 in a cool (5-20 °C) dark place. If refrigerated, allow the adhesive to come to room temperature before using.

Fiber arrays are used for the input and output of optical waveguide devices. NTT-AT’s AT3925M, AT9390, AT9968, AT3727E and AT3728E epoxy-based optical adhesives are used for fixing the v-grooves and have realized price reductions while enhancing moisture resistance compared to conventional products. These adhesives can be polished after assembly. NTT-AT’s AT9575M (epoxy) and AT8105 (acrylate) adhesives for optical fiber fixing have gained popularity for their good workability as non-fluid adhesives. NTT-AT has executed durability tests that have shown no peeling of a fiber array after 2,000 hours at +85 °C and 85% of humidity. With viscosities that are appropriate for the usage location, the adhesives for fiber array assemblies are easy to use. While the adhesives for fixing v-grooves show fluidity, the optical fiber fixing adhesives’ consistency is that of a paste, suitable for protecting the fiber. High Refractive Index Optical Adhesives
Refractive Index 1.603-1.720; Viscosity 9-7,000 mPas; Transmittance 72%-96%; Hardness 67-83 Shore D; Shear Bond Strength 35->280 kgf/cm²; UV Curing Conditions 10, 100 mW/cm², 5, 10 min; Tg +63-+113 °C With a typical refractive index of 1.5 in conventional optical adhesives, the problem of a high reflection loss arose in cases of adhesion with high refractive index glass and crystal materials. Utilizing its refractive index control technology and optical loss reduction technology, NTT-AT has developed optical adhesives with a high refractive index adjustable to 1.6 or more. By adding high refractive index fillers, NTT-AT is even able to manufacture resins with a refractive index of 1.9. These resins are aimed at usage in the fields of optical recording, display technology, optical energy uses, etc. In addition to this series, NTT-AT also provides high refractive index resins for nanoimprint applications. NTT’s high refractive index resins are excellent in transparency in visible light domains, with haze values of 1 or less, so it is expected that they are used as a coating agent for displays and similar products. Within this series, you find acrylate-based adhesives (#18165 and #6205) as well as epoxy adhesives (E3754 and E7200). To match the particular working environment of our customers, NTT-AT provides both ultraviolet (UV) and heat curing types. NTT-AT provides refractive index customized resins to meet each customer's needs. It is possible to respond to several kinds of requests such as with/without solvent or adjusting the viscosity. Please contact the AMS Technologies optical adhesives experts to discuss your customized refractive index matched optical adhesive solution. High-Precision Optical Adhesives
Viscosity 36,000, 180,000 mPas; Bending Adhesion Strength >114, >128 kgf/cm²; UV Curing Conditions 100 mW/cm², 2 min; Curing Shrinkage Rate 0.5%, 0.9%; Tg +195, +233 °C; Thermal Expansion Coefficient 18, 20 ppm/°C NTT-AT’s high-precision optical adhesives allow easy fixation of optical components with sub-micron accuracy. Based on epoxy, these high-precision optical adhesives are available with low viscosity of 36,000 mPas (AT3916P) or with high viscosity of 180,000 mPas (AT3862P). Both adhesives show minimal position changes due to curing time and temperature. Shrinkage rate during curing is very low for this series of high-precision optical adhesives, and the thermal expansion coefficient is small. Using ultraviolet (UV) ray curing makes alignment easy. NTT-AT’s series of high-precision adhesives show excellent durability: Even after a high-temperature process at +260 °C, the adhesives’ bonding strength does not change. And no peeling occurred after 200 cycles in a simplified heat cycle test. In order to achieve high reliability, a product must clear the tests conducted by the users themselves. If you have had even just a bit of dissatisfaction in precision or durability results in the past, please put NTT-AT’s high-precision adhesives to the test. In case you need any consulting regarding issues related to adhesion, please contact the AMS Technologies optical adhesives experts to discuss the detailed challenges of your application. NOA 63 Optical Adhesive 1oz bottle
Refractive Index 1.56; 2000 cps Viscosity at 25°C Norland Optical Adhesive 63 ("NOA63") is a clear, colorless, liquid photopolymer that will cure when exposed to ultraviolet light. Since it is a one part system and 100% solids,it offers many advantages in bonding of optical elements where the bonding surface can be exposed to light. The use of NOA 63 eliminates premixing, drying or heat curingoperations common to other optical adhesive systems. Curing time is remarkably fast, and is dependent upon the thickness applied and the amount of ultraviolet light energy available.NOA 63 is recommended for the bonding of achromats, prisms and all other precision compound optics. The outstanding characteristics of the adhesive are its low fluorescence and its excellent transmission in the near UV range. After fullcure, the adhesive has good transmission from 320 to 3,000 nanometers.Typical Properties of NOA 63 Solids 100% Elongation at Failure 6% Modulus of Elasticity (psi) 240,000 Tensile Strength (psi) 5,000 Hardness - Shore D 90 Shelf life of the liquid is at least 6 months from the date of shipment if stored in a cool  (5-22° C), dark place in the original container.
