mCTRL-T-20-12/55 mini TEC Controller

Product information "mCTRL-T-20-12/55 mini TEC Controller"

Max. Output Current TEC 20 A; Chassis Mount; Supply Voltage 12-55 VDC; Temperature Stability <0.1°C; H-Bridge Control; Temperature Regulation PID or ON/OFF

AMS Technologies‘ mCTRL-T-20-12/55 mini TEC controller uses an electrical H-bridge to drive thermoelectric coolers (TECs) / Peltier elements with broadly variable voltages und currents of up to 10 A, or up to 20 A using a heat sink. An auxiliary temperature sensor (RTD such as Pt100, Pt1000, or thermistor) can be connected to allow highly accurate temperature control within less than ±0.1°C.

The user can select a set temperature between -100°C and +100°C via analog interfaces such as 0-5 V or 4-20 mA, or digital interfaces like RS232 (serial) or WiFi. The layout of the board allows to separate the graphic OLED display, including the device’s three control buttons, enabling OEMs to separate this display/control unit from the main board and connect it to the main board via ribbon cable.

1,5A Temp Controller 0,003°C temperature stability PID1500
The robust circuitry of the PID1500 achieves 0.003°C temperature stability. Onboard controls make this package plug and play. The linear, PI control loop offers maximum stability while the bipolar current source has been designed for higher efficiency. The PID1500 drives up to 1.5 A for either Thermoelectrics (bipolar) or Resistive Heaters (unipolar). An evaluation board simplifies prototyping: PIDEVALPCB. Heatsinking is already provided to support operation across a -20°C to +85°C operating range. The PID1500 temperature controller is easily configured for any design. Virtually any type of temperature sensor can be used with the PID1500 and a built in switchable sensor bias current source simplifies use with resistive temperature sensors. The Proportional Gain (P) is adjustable with an onboard single turn trimpot. Use an onboard trimpot to adjust the setpoint or the Analog Input pin for  remote control. Use another onboard trimpot to set the maximum output current to the load or set it with a resistor between pins 1 & 2. A switch between those pins acts as a remote enable / disable. Remove a jumper to operate resistive heaters with a unipolar output current. Two monitor pins provide access to the temperature setpoint voltage and the actual sensor voltage. The PID1500 has proven reliable in such diverse fields as spectroscopy, defense, and medical research. Key Features Single supply operation: +5 V to +12 V Up to 1.5 A output current available < 0.005°C stability (24-hour) Adjustable current limit Remote Analog Input to adjust Temperature Setpoint Supports Thermistors, IC Sensors, or RTDs Temperature Setpoint, Proportional Gain, and Current Limit are user adjustable Remotely Enable/Disable output Can be wired for Resistive Heater control

IXF.S Linear Stages
Aluminum or Steel; Optic Size 12.7 mm (0.5 inch); Front Adjust; 100TPI; Sigle-Axis The IXF.S single-axis flexure is designed with the same features as Siskiyou popular IXF series flexure mounts. Siskiyou have split the two-axis design into a modular design that is useful where only one-axis for tilt is required. The base of the IXF.S has a single 8-32 (M4) tapped hole for mounting, as well as one on the top for attachment. Also included are two counterbored holes that can be accessed from the top for mounting to our .25dt dovetail and .5cr crossed roller stages for translation. On the edge of this mount are 4-40 tapped holes that correspond with clearance counterbores that are accessed from the bottom. These are used to create upright tip/tilt mounts. These mounts use Siskiyou 100TPI rolled thread adjustment screws for low stiction fine adjustments and are swaged at the end to prevent over-travel of the mount. The IXF.S series mounts are manufactured from one solid piece of spring steel, then nickel plated so they will not corrode and can be used in ultraviolet laser environments. These models are also available in aluminum versions as a lower cost option. Aluminum models exhibit the same performance specifications as the steel models. Custom OEM configurations are available in the aluminum version only.

MPT10000 Rev G TEC Driver
10 A; 1 channel; 15 V; The robust MPT series circuitry achieves 0.0005°C temperature stability. It is a chassis mount package with cabling to the male DSub15 connector available: WCB101. The MPT10000 drives up to 10 A for either Thermoelectrics (bipolar) or Resistive Heaters (unipolar). This temperature controller interfaces with virtually any type of temperature sensor. An onboard sensor bias current source can drive thermistors, RTDs, or the LM335. For current sensors like the AD590, simply bias it and drive it into the sensor input. A trimpot adjusts the Proportional Gain (P). A fixed Integrator Time Constant (I) capacitor can be custom fit to your application to optimize temperature overshoot and stability. Another trimpot adjusts the setpoint temperature. You can use a remote signal (D-to-A, or remote trimpot, for example) with the external analog input to control the operating temperature. Up to 25 V can be delivered to the load with 30 V input. Heatsinking then becomes critical and a Safe Operating Area tool is available to make sure you don’t exceed the maximum internal power dissipation of the package. Monitor pins bring out both Setpoint and Actual temperature signals. Current limit is set via a single-turn trimpot under the cover.
