Lightel’s eye-safe CI-1100 connector inspector is a portable video microscope used to inspect fiber optic connector endfaces for contamination. The handheld probe design makes it easy for users to inspect both patch cords and hard-to-reach in-adapter connectors.
The CI-1100-A2 package includes a folding LCD monitor, four inspection tips, a charger/adapter and a carrying case. An optional USB adapter including ConnectorView™ software (CI-1000-USB2) is also available to display and capture images on a PC.
Lightel offers a large variety of adapter tips, allowing you to view almost any connector in any location.

Lightel’s ConnectorView™ Plus software is designed for users needing portable automated pass/fail software to check for fiber optic connector endface contamination. Whether you want to improve objective evaluation of connector cleanliness in the field, train others to recognize acceptable standards, or improve documentation, ConnectorView™ Plus is designed to save time and improve accuracy.
Use ConnectorView™ Plus software with any Lightel USB2.0 microscope:, CI-1100 with USB2.0 option, DI-1000, ViewConn® Pro VC-8200 as well as the discontinued Lightel microscopes CI-1000 and ViewConn®.
Self-calibrating and virtually instantaneous, ConnectorView™ Plus software will highlight contamination and defects and create an analysis report. It will capture and save the image together with the pass/fail report. A summary report can also be automatically generated.

The ergonomically designed DI-1000 is Lightel's all digital video microscope probe. It connects directly to your PC through the computer's USB2.0 port.
Featuring easy single-finger focusing, a built-in image freeze/capture button, and detectable resolution to 0.5 µm, the DI-1000 package includes Lightel’s free ConnectorView™ (standard) software, providing digital zoom, image display, image capture, auto-calibration and basic analysis tools.
The DI-1000 uses Series 2 inspection tips and can also use all of Lightel’s CI-1000 tips with an optional adapter. Lightel’s optional ConnectorView Plus analytical software adds pass/fail analysis and detailed reporting capabilities to the DI-1000.

The VC6-OPM and VC6-OPM-H are Lightel's optical power meters designed to integrate with Lightel’s ViewConn® integrated fiber connector inspection systems. Able to store up to 999 readings and later download them to a PC via USB2.0, the VC6-OPM or VC6-OPM-H shares ViewConn's batteries and large easy-to-read display screen.
The devices add accurate optical power testing to ViewConn's cleaning and inspection capabilities, creating an integrated 3-in-1 hand-held device. Users can inspect, clean, and test with one field-ready hand-held unit. With this combination, it is easy to change from connector inspection to power measurement at the flip of a switch.
While VC6-OPM features a dynamic range of -60 to +10 dBm, VC-OPM-H with -45 to +26 dBm is suitable for higher power applications. Either OPM fiber power meter can be purchased in a set with a ViewConn, or added to your ViewConn when you need it.

Lightel’s ViewConn® Pro (VC-8200) is an integrated system for fiber optic connector inspection, evaluation, documentation and cleaning. The Lightel-originated dual microscope concept allows rapid inspection of both male and female connectors without changing tips. The auto-centering feature allows faster connector endface location and analysis with the probe.
