Kimmon Koha is a world leading manufacturer of high quality HeCd lasers, fiber lasers as well as diode lasers. Kimmon Koha began manufacturing HeCd lasers in 1971. Since then over thousands of laser systems have been installed worldwide, making Kimmon not only the oldest but the largest HeCd laser manufacturer in the world.
One of the unique capabilities of the KIMMON KOHA’s production system is the ability to process raw quartz from proprietary quartz mines and produce the HeCd laser tubes in-house. These capabilities translate into higher quality products.

Kimmon Koha’s IK Series of Helium-Cadmium (HeCd) metal-vapour gas laser systems comprises 18 models with an output wavelength of 325 nm (UV), 10 models with an output wavelength of 442 nm (Blue) and 10 models combining both wavelengths in a dual-wavelength version.
More than 40 years of He-Cd laser manufacturing allow Kimmon Koha to provide HeCd lasers with the highest polarized output power, reliability and average lifetime.
The average lifetimes of Kimmon Koha’s IK Series HeCd lasers are the best in the business. All of IK Series lasers average 4,500 hours or more, and some models average over 8,000 hours. Do not be surprised if you get a system which will run for more than 10,000 hours. This superior performance along with the best warranty available has resulted in Kimmon Koha having the largest installed base of He-Cd lasers.
