BHEPS-1000 Bright Polarization-Entangled Photon Source Broadband Telecom
Signal/Idler Degeneracy Wavelength 1550 ±0.7² nm; Photon Pairs Bandwith FWHM 3 nm @ -3 dB Spectral Brightness; Noise Suppression >75 dB; Fidelity >98% OZ Optics' advanced entangled photon sources harness the high optical confinement within a periodically poled nonlinear waveguide (PPNW) to achieve exceptional efficiency and produce plentiful photon pairs. Utilizing spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC) within a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) type-2 waveguide, situated within a fiber-based Sagnac loop, photons are generated. The thermal stabilization of the PPNW ensures maintenance of the ideal phase matching condition. Following the creation of photon pairs, pump photons and associated fluorescence noise are efficiently filtered out from the remaining pairs using a built-in set of optical filters. This remarkable stability is attained through the self-compensation effect of an all-in-fiber Sagnac interferometer, complemented by a single-frequency external cavity laser operating at 775 nm with an ultra-narrow linewidth. Consequently, bright, high-performance, and low-noise entangled photon sources operating at room temperature are realized. The resulting polarization-entangled photon pairs are generated within a narrow spectral bandwidth of just a few nanometers in the C Band, with a center wavelength of 1550 nm. Key features: Highest counts/coincidence rate available in the market High Heralding efficiency and excellent fidelity Turn-key, highly stable, room temperature operation Rugged, alignment free, proprietary design Built-in noise-suppression filters Built-in stable pump laser with variable attenuator Customizable Applications: Quantum key distribution, quantum computing and information processing, quantum LIDAR, subsystem integrable for quantum communication

Signal/Idler Degeneracy Wavelength 1550 ±0.6² nm; Photon Pairs Bandwith FWHM 80 nm @ -3 dB Spectral Brightness; Noise Suppression >75 dB; Fidelity >98% OZ Optics' advanced entangled photon sources leverage the high optical confinement within a periodically poled nonlinear waveguide (PPNW) to achieve remarkable efficiency and a rich abundance of photon pairs. These photons are produced through spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC) within a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) type-2 waveguide, nestled within a fiber-based Sagnac loop. Ensuring optimal phase matching, the PPNW is thermally stabilized. Upon photon pair creation, any residual pump photons and associated fluorescence noise are meticulously filtered out by an integrated set of optical filters. Exceptional stability is realized through the self-compensation effect of an all-in-fiber Sagnac interferometer, complemented by a single-frequency external cavity laser operating at 775 nm with an ultra-narrow linewidth. Consequently, these entangled photon sources deliver bright, high-performance outputs with minimal noise, operating comfortably at room temperature.
