Oven Industries offers a variety of PID (Proportional, Integral and Derivative) TEC temperature controllers for thermoelectric cooling (TEC) modules with single or dual current output for a wide range of industries. This series includes TEC temperature controllers to meet various input/output voltages and operating temperatures. Oven Industries also offers models with remote controllers and/or remote displays.

Many of the TEC temperature controller models in Oven Industries’ broad portfolio feature a bi-directional or unidirectional H-bridge configuration, enabling a seamless transition between heating and cooling as the controller can change the polarity of the current driving the thermoelectric modules in an instant.

While most models of this temperature controller series offer an interface for thermistors to measure the current temperature, some variants are also suitable for temperature measurement using thermocouples.

In addition to chassis-mount models with purely manual adjustment via potentiometers on the board or even remote potentiometers with scale for front panel mounting, the portfolio also includes TEC temperature controllers with PC interface (RS232, RS485) for set-up and adjustment as well as models for laboratory use, featuring a wide range AC power supply and extensive setup options via display and GUI on the front panel.

The WTC3293-14001 is a mini-instrument temperature controller with a temperature (not resistance) display and onboard adjustments.Wrapped around the precision WTC3243 temperature controller, it is configured for use with a TCS610 thermistor. Wire your thermoelectric cooler and thermistor to the board with the cable provided. Add the appropriate DC power supply and indicate the input voltage on the jumper. With the output disabled, adjust the on-board 12-turn trimpot and watch the setpoint temperature change on the  4-digit display. Switch to Actual temperature and display your thermistor temperature. Watch the LED tree to see "over/under temperature" or "stable at setpoint" status. Enable the output current and watch the temperature quickly lock in on the setpoint.The green LED on the In-Range indicator lights when actual temperature is within 0.05°C of the setpoint. If the actual temperature exceeds the setpoint, the upper LED will light. The WHY5640 is a general purpose, low cost, analog PI (Proportional, Integral) control loop for use in thermoelectric or resistive heater temperature control applications. The WHY5640 maintains  precision temperature regulation using an active resistor bridge circuit that operates directly with thermistors or RTD temperature sensors.
