Altronic Research is located in Arkansas, USA. As a leader in product development, it was the first to design and produce a water cooled coaxial load resistor (dummy load). Continuously committed to research and innovations, Altronic Research recently introduced an air cooled RF coaxial load resistor for UHF Digital HDTV, which uses its own advanced tuning techniques (patent pending). Its Power Film Systems subsidiary offers a range of highly reliable non inductive, air, water and oil cooled film resistors.
Air Cooled RF Dummy Loads
The air cooled series of dummy loads are available for 50-ohm coaxial transmission line systems that exhibit excellent and stable RF characteristics during their full range of operating power, in a variety of models available from 1 kW up to 1500 kW.
6400 SERIES: The smaller air cooled dummy loads use static or forced air, available in 1kW to 15kW.
