The MC series enables everything from adhesive removal to the finish polishing to be done in one step by putting together all the necessary films for all polishing in one polishing film. By placing a buff film between each of the polishing films, the polishing and inter-process cleaning are done at one time as a batch. Customizing is available for various types of ferrule. In conventional automated polishing lines, the same number of polishing machines as the polishing processes was needed. However, by combining the unique polishing trajectory of the ATP-3000 and the MC-Film placed in a direct line from adhesive removal until final finishing, NTT Advanced Technology has realized the whole process in a single polishing machine. Since changing polishing film and cleaning operations between processes are not needed, there is a measured shortening in polishing time. Also, because automation can be done with a single polishing machine, space is also saved. The cleaning work and attaching and detaching of polishing films normally required between processes that can easily affect the polish shape and cause end face scratching are no longer needed, achieving a workability with no special skills required. Air-to-air thermoelectric assemblies allow pumping out extra heat from inside small, hermetically closed equipment like telecom and remote control cabinets. They also allow cooling down a limited area to a temperature below ambient (air conditioning). Thermoelectric assemblies (TEAs) are cooling and heating devices, consisting of several high-density heat-exchangers bolted together with highly efficient thermoelectric coolers (TEC) between them. For more efficiency, these heat-exchangers are equipped with fans. Their application allows the creation of temperature control systems with operating temperatures equal or less than ambient temperatures with maximum coefficient of performance (COP).  Usage of assemblies does not require special knowledge in the field of thermoelectric cooling design and is able to provide precise temperature control of the object. Assemblies are optimized for 12 V, 24 V and 48 V of onboard supply voltage. TEAs are environmentally friendly – no refrigerant fluid is used. All TEAs are ready for installation by screws. Optionally assemblies could be supplied with a temperature sensor installed for precise temperature control as well as with a temperature controller and a power supply unit. Optimum enclosure protectionThanks to the special internal configuration that keeps the flow of outside air separated and sealed from the inside air, and to the self-adhesive coupling seal, the DEK cooling units allow the enclosure to maintain an IP54 protection level. Safe guarding the environmentGreat attention is paid to limiting the noise level, being one of the most important criteria when designing the DEK cooling units. They are, in fact, designed to minimise disturbance caused by noise to ensure a quiet working place. To protect the environment all the cooling units use the CFC-free, ozonefriendly refrigerant R134a. Supply voltageThe DEK cooling units are available for the main AC supply voltage: 230V single-phase, 400-440V two-phase (in the case of voltage between lines when there is no neutral), 115V single-phase and 400V three-phase, all bifrequency 50-60 Hz. On request and for substantial quantities they can also be available with other voltages not given in the catalogue. PaintingRAL 7035 orange peel effect is the standard colour. Epoxy powder paint is used. On request other colours are available as well as stainless steel versions.
