Filtered LED Module; 240-940 nm; Typical Radiant Flux 0.008-6 mW; Iop 0.025-1 A; Vop 2.1-10 V Mightex’s FFC-Series of filtered high-power fiber-coupled LED light sources employ the latest high-power LED technologies and a proprietary coupling optics to achieve maximum optical output power. The series’ optical output is coupled into a fiber through a standard SMA fiber adapter port (SMA fiber patchcords are sold separately). Users may insert an optical filter into the light source to tailor the light source’s output spectrum and intensity to their needs. Example applications include fluorescence excitation with a bandpass filter, wavelength selection from a white LED, attenuating intensity with a neutral density filter, and polarized output with a polarizer. Filters are not included in standard FFC products. Maximum filter diameter is 1”(25.4mm) and minimum diameter is 12mm. Maximum filter thickness is 5mm. Filters with diameters of 1” or 25mm can be directly loaded into the filter holder. Smaller filters may need an adapter. FFC-Series filtered LED light sources also feature a locking electrical connector for secured connection. FFC-Series are designed as a universal light source for general lab use and OEM applications. The one-piece machined housing features multiple mounting holes. To drive a FFC-Series filtered LED light source, any one of the wide range of Mightex’s software-controlled LED controllers such as the SLC-Series , but also manual and other LED controllers can be used. When high performance in a small envelope is required, the 4000 Series is the best option. Heavy-walled, seamless stainless steel tubes are expanded into copper fin with an extruded full collar. The copper fin and the excellent metal-to-metal contact between the tube and the fin collar ensure optimum thermal performance. All wetted surfaces are 316L stainless steel, making them ideal for high purity and/or corrosive coolants such as deionized water. The welded stainless steel frame and fan plate offer durability and strength. Aavid-Boyd’s 4000 Series heat exchangers with 0.7 mm tube wall thickness are 100% leak tested to 10.3 bar. The integrated fan plate acts as a plenum to ensure uniform air-flow distribution through the core, thus maximizing performance. It also enables easy fan installation. 4000 Series style heat exchangers can be manufactured in custom sizes and tube configurations to meet your thermal and mechanical specifications. Inlet/outlet positions, fittings, paints and other coatings are available.
