Manufacturer "PCO Excelitas"
Excelitas PCO is a camera manufacturer leading in digital imaging innovation across various sectors, including scientific and industrial research, automotive testing, quality control, and metrology. Founded in 1987 as Pioneering in Cameras and Optoelectronics (PCO), the company initially focused on image-intensified cameras and later co-invented the sCMOS sensor technology, elevating imaging performance standards. PCO was acquired by Excelitas in 2021. The camera portfolio of Excelitas PCO ranges from deep ultraviolet (DUV) to shortwave infrared (SWIR), encompassing long exposure to high-speed and line scan to high-resolution area scan capabilities. The company's software suite supports control and processing across a wide range of platforms and architectures. https://www.excelitas.com/product-category/pco Countries of Representation Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden

C-Series high-sensitivity 1/2” CCD cameras are available as colour or B/W versions, with 1.4 MP (1392x1040) resolution and 8 or 12 bit, and can be ordered as “naked” board-level device or pre-mounted in an enclosure. Monochrome cameras often exhibit a 20% higher spatial resolution than their colour counterparts because no pixel interpolation is necessary. Since there is no Bayer colour filter on the sensor, monochrome cameras are more sensitive than colour sensors, especially in near IR and UV regions. C-Series 1/2” CCD cameras have built-in frame buffers, global shutter, external trigger-in, strobe-out, and a powerful camera engine that supports multiple cameras. The frame rate can be as high as 15 fps in full resolution and up to 80 fps using ROI mode. In addition, a user-friendly GUI based application software and an SDK are provided for custom software development. A USB command set protocol is also provided for non-Windows based applications. Available models are: CCN-C013-U: colour, board-level CCE-C013-U: colour, enclosed CCN-B013-U: B/W, board-level CCE-B013-U: B/W, enclosed Note: Board-level cameras are designed for OEM applications, when a system-level enclosure is usually provided. In order to avoid electro-static discharge (ESD) related damages, workforce handling a board-level camera should be properly grounded. ESD related damages are considered as mishandling and are not covered by product warranty. For lab use, it is strongly recommended to choose an enclosed camera instead of a board-level one.
