Excelitas’ thermopile sensor modules incorporate a variety of the supplier’s thermopile sensors and detectors mounted on small PCBs with connectors for streamlined plug-and-play systems integration. The PCB caters to features such as voltage regulation and a noise reduction filter.
These thermopile modules sense the thermal radiation emitted by objects and convert this to an analog voltage. They include a thermopile sensor chip connected to an internal circuit which provides for the amplification calculation of signals into temperature-related output.
Excelitas’ thermopile modules provide gas algorithm and calibration solutions typically utilized in various temperature measuring applications. The ISO-thermal module includes integrated temperature compensation for a defined temperature environment and the calibration to a certain object temperature range. The internal signal processing with 8-bit resolution of the control registers and the E2PROM technology allow for calibration as per customer requirements.
In addition to standard versions, TPMI thermopile modules are offered as programmed per customer request. For requirements of defined spot sizes, Excelitas offers sensors with a field-of-view defined by optical apertures, internal lenses or external mirror optics. The TPiM 1T 0134 and TPiM 1T 0234 calibrated TPMI thermopile sensor modules include the TPMI sensor on a PCB with connector in TO-5 housing for easy plug and play and is available with (TPM 1T 0134 M) or without external mirror optics. As standard calibration options, Excelitas provides TPiM 1T 0134 OAA140 P6 for up to +140 °C (TPM 1T 0134 M), TPiM 1T 0134 OAA250 P6 for up to +250 °C or TPiM 1T 0234 OAA060 P6 for up to +60 °C.
The TPiM 1T 0136 L5.5 calibrated TPMI thermopile sensor module with lens features the TPMI thermopile sensor on a PCB with connector in TO-5 housing with integral lens for easy plug-and-play integration. As standard calibration options, Excelitas provides TPiM 1T 0136 L5.5 OAA250 P7 for up to +250 °C or TPiM 1T 0136 L5.5 OAA060 P7 for up to +60 °C.
