Excelitas’ high-sensitivity thermopile detectors are available in TO-46, TO-5 and compact SMD housings, with or without an integrated focusing lens.
The thermopile detectors vary by sensor-area size and housing type. With the range of specially designed sensors, Excelitas provides solutions for thermometry (isothermal construction), non-contact measurement (built-in lens) or gas monitoring (two narrowband windows, dual-channel output).
Excelitas’ unique ISOthermal sensor concept significantly distinguishes the Excelitas thermopile family by utilizing patented construction to deliver improved performance and measurement accuracy under thermal shock conditions. All thermopile detector versions are equipped as standard with an internal thermistor as temperature reference for thermopile temperature compensation
