Product Portfolio
AMS Technologies’ range of power modules consists of efficient power supplies in module format, suitable for PCB or chassis mounting. Depending on the task, the power modules convert AC voltage (AC/DC converters) or DC voltage (DC/DC converters) into the required supply voltage for the given circuit or system. Our portfolio of power modules includes both standard and high voltage solutions with output voltages of up to 60 kV.

Our chassis-mount, air insulated, fast-response, high-voltage AC/DC converters, including a series of AC/DC converters dedicated to charging energy storing capacitors, feature wide-range AC voltage inputs and DC output voltages up to 60 kV with tight regulation and protection functions. These AC/DC converter modules are available with output powers of 15 W75 W or 300 W.

Our broad range of professional, very compact, high voltage DC/DC converters in modular form are primarily suitable for PCB mounting. Encompassing several different package forms, these modules start at 100 V output types of just over 1 cm3 in size and reach all the way to 6 kV output versions with 4 W output power.

APD HV4479 High-Voltage DC/DC Converters
Ultra-compact, Adjustable Output; Input Voltage 11.5 – 13.5 VDC, 22.5 – 26.5 VDC; Output Voltage 300 V, 600 V, 1 kV, 2 kV The HV4479 series is a direct replacement and pin-to-pin compatible to the standard 4479 converters. APD Series High Voltage DC/DC Converters
Compact Size; Input Voltage 4.5 to 15.5 VDC; Output Voltage 200 to 500 VDC, programmable from 0 to 100%; Output Power 100 mW The highly compact SDS's APD series is specially designed to meet the high voltage power requirements of scientific instrumentation used in the industrial, medical and military sectors. These modules provide access to voltages of up to 500 VDC in instruments where space is an important factor in order to achieve greater quantum efficiency and reduced total leakage current. With its ultra-miniaturized (5.75 cm³) metal case, the APD HV DC/DC converter series features low radiation noise. MJ Series High Voltage AC/DC Power Supplies

A broad range of models is available with output voltage ranges from 0 to 3 kVDC through 0 to 30 kVDC. The MJ Series’ current regulation is unequalled in a module of this price range. For example, the regulation from short circuit to rated voltage for the 15 kV, 1 mA model is ±500 nA. ML Series High Voltage AC/DC Power Supplies

A broad range of models is available with output voltage ranges from 0 to 8 kVDC through 0 to 60 kVDC. The ML Series is a family of sophisticated, medium-power, high voltage AC/DC power supplies that complies with current international safety and EMI directives. XP Glassman has packaged this series as a space-saving module to avoid the expense of front panels and displays. However, no compromises in performance and/or operating features have been made. The result is a power supply series that offers outstanding value for a wide range of demanding applications. The ML Series features “air” as the primary dielectric medium. No oil or encapsulation is used which would impede serviceability or increase weight. The ML Series also features high-speed dynamic voltage regulation – for load transients of 10% to 99% and 99% to 10%, the output voltage will recover to within 1% in less than 1 ms. Ripple is less than 0.05% of rated voltage at full load, and most models exhibit less than 1 J of stored energy.
