LCP ET 88,9x12,7x300/4Pass_Cu is an aluminum cold plate combined with 4-pass copper tubes. The exclusive section shape, pressed in the base plates without glues or resins, maximizes adhesion and minimizes any thermal impedance between the tube coil and the plate, both on the straight and curved parts of the design.

Light Weight Cold Plates for Low to Medium Power Densities
Plate Thickness 4 mm; 4 kg/m² to 9 kg/m²; Surface Flatness app. 0.2 mm These very cost-effective cold plates are ideal for battery cooling in automotive and traction as well as many other industrial applications. They are made of aluminium sheets and despite their low weight have a uniform temperature distribution, with temperature differences of about 3 K across the surface of the cold plate. High efficiency, model flexibility and excellent corrosion protection are further advantages of these cold plates that are produced in a special process allowing for particularly low pressure drop values to be achieved. Either a mixture of water and ethylene glycol or industrial refrigerants such as HFC 134a or R600a can be used as coolants. On the manufacturer's special machines, light weight cold plates with a width of up to 550 mm and a maximum length of 2500 mm can be produced as single pieces or in large series quantities. The tubes of the CP12™ cold plates are coplanar with the plate to allow for dual-sided mounting. The cold plate's tube side offers higher performance as the copper tubes are in direct contact with the component being cooled. Its epoxy-free construction results in 30% better performance than other similar sized cold plates. Our range of standard tubed cold plates provide cost-effective thermal solutions for component cooling applications where the heat load is low-to-moderate. These tubed cold plates consist of copper tubes pressed into a channeled aluminum extrusion. This “Press-Lock” technology eliminates the need for performance-limiting epoxy between the tube and the plate, resulting in superior thermal performance.
