Product information "fibersect.multi Automated Mechanical Connector Cleaver"

Processing Time 1 to 4 s; Cut Length Adjustable 0 to 600 µm; Exchangeable Adapters; Connector Type MT 0°, MT 8°, LC, LC/APC, LC-Duplex, SC, SC/APC, Others; Power Supply 100 to 240 VAC; Dimensions 108x146x76 mm

Phenix Fiber Optics’ fibersect.multi® automated mechanical connector cleaver quickly cuts off the protruding epoxy and fibers of all ferrules and connectors, including MT ferrules and MTP® connectors, SC, LC, LC Duplex, FC, SMA, ST and MU. In just seconds, the device produces a flat cut very close to the ferrule face, presenting the ideal surface for polishing and markedly improving end face geometry.

The fibersect.multi® automated mechanical connector cleaver improves throughput and first pass yield by eliminating manual steps and reducing human variables, thereby minimizing polishing, maximizing reliability and precision, and producing significant savings in production.

One-button operation, battery power, and small footprint provide exceptional versatility, portability, and ease of use. With its simple, one button operation, this device cleaves an optical fiber in a fast cut cycle time of one to four seconds. Reliably and reproducibly cutting parallel to the face of the ferrule at 0° (flat) or 8° angle (APC), fibersect.multi® features adjustable cut length, increases throughput by significantly reducing core cracks and improves the polished end face geometry

Further process steps like denubbing or air polishing are eliminated. By cutting close to ferrule, fibersect.multi® minimizes polishing and significantly reduces final polishing steps. A broad range of easy-to-change adapters enables cutting of all ferrules and connectors.

AutoStrip II Window Stripping Unit
Automated, Mid-span; Window Strip Length 2-150 mm; Fiber Coating Diameter ≤1,000 µm; Fiber Cladding 125-400 µm; Pulling Speed 20-100 mm/min The AutoStrip II is designed for fast, chemical free window stripping of optical fibers. Utilizing SAE Technologies’ patented “Burst Technology™”, this system accomplishes the often difficult task of window stripping fibers with acrylate coating diameters up to 1,000 µm. The AutoStrip II automated, mid-span window stripping unit meets the need for variable window strip lengths at high strength and ultra cleanliness. The proven Burst Technology™ method instantly vaporizes the fiber coating. The result is a clean, stripped fiber at substantially higher strength than any mechanical stripping method. The fiber is free of debris at 400x magnification. Equipped with a built-in, high-force fiber tensile tester, the AutoStrip II system can pull the fiber up to 20 N (235 kpsi). To ensure high quality, repeatability and high production yield, all critical processes and parameters such as stripping distance, burst temperature, burst speed, and strength test are controlled automatically by a built-in microprocessor. The AutoStrip II can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated into different sub-systems. The use of chemicals for high-strength fiber stripping is now a thing of the past! Key Features: Chemical-Free (No Cleaning or Stripping Chemicals Required) Easy, Low-maintenance Bench-top Design Fast Cycle Time & High First-pass Yield Accommodates Acrylate Coating Fiber Diameters up to 600 μm (Custom Nozzles up to 1,000 μm) Variable Window Strip Lengths From 2 up to 150 mm Fiber Cladding: 125 to 400 μm Fiber Strength: Typical >35 N on 125 μm Fiber Fiber Cleanliness: Free of Debris at 400x Magnification Built-in High-force Linear Tensile Tester, Tensile Strength: 0 to 20 N Pulling Speed: 20 to 100 mm/min, Hold Time: 0 to 5 s Power Supply: 115 to 230 V AC Compressed Air: External Compressor, 95 psi - 5 SCFM Flow PC Interface: RS232C Software-adjustable Parameters Automated Fiber Clamps Built-in Graphical LCD Control Storage of up to 10 Programs Dimensions: 465 x 315 x 225 mm Application: Automated, Mid-span Window Stripping of Optical Fibers With Acrylate Coating Diameters up to 1,000 µm

CP10G18 Aluminum Cold Plate with 4-Pass Copper tube, straight fittings
304.8 mm X 88.9 mm, 0.008 °C/W, tubed cold plate. The CP10™ 4-pass is a cost-effective, single-sided aluminum cold plate available with either copper or stainless steel tubes. It is ideal for component cooling applications where the heat load is low-to-moderate. Our range of standard tubed cold plates provide cost-effective thermal solutions for component cooling applications where the heat load is low-to-moderate. These tubed cold plates consist of copper or stainless steel tubes pressed into a channeled aluminum extrusion. This “Press-Lock” technology eliminates the need for performance-limiting epoxy between the tube and the plate, resulting in superior thermal performance. Each tubed cold plate has a single tube with no joint, ensuring leak-free operation.
