Expand the capabilities of your Wavelength Electronics laser diode drivers and TEC drivers with the USBKIT and QuickConnect™ software. The USBKIT USB interface provides convenient computer control of most Wavelength Electronics chassis mount drivers and evaluation boards at a surprisingly low price.

The QuickConnect™ software provides an intuitive virtual control panel that allows you to leverage the low-noise, high-stability laser diode and temperature control capabilities of Wavelength Electronics’ components to save time and money. The QuickConnect™ software is compatible with x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) PCs.

The USBKIT loads many features into one small package, making it a terrific value-add for your laser lab or manufacturing floor. The USB board includes D/A for remote setpoint control and A/Ds for monitoring actual temperature or current. The software provides control of one laser diode driver, one temperature controller, an auxiliary monitor, and full graphing and datalogging of selected parameters.

Multiple USBKITs can be attached to the same computer, allowing for control of complex systems. Setup configurations can be saved for repeating experiments or manufacturing testing routines. The QuickConnect™ software includes on-screen wiring diagrams for the selected Wavelength modules, making set-up a snap. Two strip charts graph laser and temperature data as a function of time. Selected data can be continuously logged.

Build the USBKIT into your OEM laser system and enjoy the convenience of closed-cover system calibration and troubleshooting—all you need is the USB cable that comes with the USBKIT. Featuring onboard switches, connectors, trimpots and other components, you can easily and quickly connect power supply and load, set parameters like current range, proportional gain or other setpoints and monitor values like the actual temperature – ideal for prototyping your control system and making it easier to integrate your final design. Use the HTCEVALPCB evaluation board to rapidly prototype a complete temperature control system based on the HTC series of TEC drivers (HTCxxoo-62 variants, not included). This evaluation board includes the HTCHTSK heat sink and measures 107 x 112 x 32 mm with HTC and heatsink installed. DVM cable ready test points monitor the setpoint and actual temperature. The LDDEVALP evaluation board supports the LDD P series of laser diode drivers (not included). Two jumpers set up for Type A, B, or C laser diodes. Heatsinks For Wavelength Electronics Laser Diode Drivers and TEC Drivers; 31 x 31 x 12 mm to 121 x 252 x 45 mm; Aluminium; 0.58 °C/W to 5.6 °C/W A range of various heatsinks is available, suitable for selected Wavelength Electronics laser diode drivers and/or TEC drivers. MULTI-HTSK heatsinks are designed to support a wide range of Wavelength products during product evaluation. MULTI-HSK heatsinks are robustly designed with an 18 W capacity without airflow and a 40 W capacity with airflow. Mounting hardware and one packet of thermal paste are included. With dimensions of 102 x 152 x 29 mm and a natural convection thermal resistance of 1.57 °C/W (per 15 cm), MULTI-HTSK heatsinks are made from black anodized aluminium and support the following Wavelength Electronics series or drivers: LDTC, LDTC2/2, MPL (not MPL7500), PLD5K-CH, PTCxK-CH (not PTC10K-CH/SL), RHM5K-CH. MULTI-HTSK-HI heatsinks for 10 A driver models have mounting holes to support the PLD10K-CH, PLD12.5K-CH, or PTC10K-CH laser diode drivers or TEC drivers. HTSK-BRKT Heatsink Bracket
The HTSK-BRKT heatsink bracket can be used with following multi-heatsinks from Wavelength Electronics: MULTI-HTSK or MULTI-HTSK-HI. These heatsinks are compatible with following chassis-mounted temperature controllers and laser drivers from Wavelength PLD5K-CH, PLD10K-CH, PLD12.5K-CH, LDTC0520, LDTC1020, PTC2.5K-CH, PTC5K-CH, PTC10K-CH, PTC10K-SL, MPL250, MPL500, MPL2500, MPL7500, MPT2500, MPT5000 or MPT10000. The bracket fits around the module, and the module can be installed without disassembling the bracket assembly. NOTE: module and heatsink are not included with bracket. The bracket mounts the heatsink in a vertical position, freeing space on your optical table. Convection is enhanced with the heatsink mounted vertically, so your Wavelength control module runs cooler at high powers. It's also a lot simpler to force additional airflow over the heatsink with a spare fan so you can use the heatsink to its full-rated capacity. Mounting holes are spaced and drilled to match optical table tops, and additional holes are provided in case you are mounting the bracket to a different surface. INTLK Interlock Replacement Kits
