AMS Technologies carries tools and equipment for fiber optics processing, providing an end-to-end solution for the assembly of fiber connectors that is exactly tailored to your requirements. In our broad portfolio you can find tools for stripping, cleaving and crimping your fibers, various systems dedicated to preparation and processing of optical fibers as well as tools for polishing like special polishing films and the polishing equipment required for manual or automated polishing the fiber optic end faces.
After processing and/or polishing, our fiber optic cleaning tools, available in pen, reel, stick, card and pipe formats, help to reliably remove even the smallest contamination like dust, skin oils and fiber residues from an optical fiber connector’s end face that would otherwise significantly reduce the overall quality of the connection – especially important if the fiber is used with higher optical power.
We carry a broad range of tools for optical adhesives that ensure optimum results of bonding optical components with our range of highly specialized, state-of-the art optical adhesives. Accurately and reproducibly dispense adhesives using our dispensing systems and accessories. After dispensing, use our professional curing equipment to provide a precisely defined UV light or/and temperature profile for curing the optical adhesive. And employ our high-performance fume extraction systems to capture and filter harmful gases that may be generated while dispensing and processing optical adhesives.
