Micro Thermoelectric Peltier Modules for Optoelectronics

Product information "Micro Thermoelectric Peltier Modules for Optoelectronics"

Kryotherm’s micro thermoelectric coolers (TECs) are used as mini- and microcoolers for direct cooling (and freezing) and temperature stabilization of small size temperature-sensitive optoelectronics as well as other electronic components and devices. Such TECs could be installed into vacuum-processed cases.

Typical applications for our micro thermoelectric coolers include contact cooling of:

  • Semiconductor lasers
  • Optical communication laser diodes
  • Interferometer laser diodes
  • Infrared detectors
  • CCD- matrix, incl. night vision equipment
  • Photomultipliers, photodetectors
  • Input stages of low-noise amplifiers and receivers
  • Microprocessors and critical microchips
  • PCBs, electronic units
  • Other temperature sensitive elements and components

Coolers could be directly integrated into standard devices e.g. ТО (ТО3, ТО8 etc.), HHL, DIL, Butterfly or any other special enclosures

Environmental Safety Features: According to RoHS directive requirements, thermoelectric coolers do not contain lead or any other forbidden materials.

Key Features:

  • Footprints: 3.4 mm x 3.4 mm to 12.0 mm x 26.0 mm
  • RoHS compliant
  • Options: High-temperature, cycling, metallization and moisture protection
  • May be integrated into TO, HHL, DIL, butterfly or other bodies
