The SF8XXX-DIL-ZIF v7.0 is a versatile laser diode controller designed for DIL LD 14-pin packages, featuring a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) socket for easy installation and removal. This all-in-one unit integrates a current source, temperature controller, and mount, ensuring precise and stable operation for your laser diodes.

Additional features of the SF8XXX series include an adjustable TEC output current limit and an integrated self-adjusting PID controller, providing optimal temperature regulation. All SF8XXX can be controlled by analog signal or digital signals and switches on the board. The SF8xxx series drivers are housed in a 61 × 101.6 mm enclosure with aluminium base plate to aid thermal dissipation from the laser diode. SF8xxx series drivers can be mounted on any surface that is thermally conductive enough to dissipate the laser diode’s power loss.
