Maiman Electronics’ SF8075-14 laser diode driver and TEC temperature controller is suitable for driving a fiber coupled laser diode in a butterfly package with 14 pins. The laser diode mount is located on the board with landing pads for soldering a butterfly 14-pin Type 1 laser diode directly into the driver board.
The driver includes a highly stable current source (±0.01 A) for the laser diode and a thermoelectric Peltier cooler (TEC). The integrated temperature controller enables to keep the temperature on the Peltier element with high precision within ±0,01°C.
