Heaters available from Stock
Our cabinet heaters available from stock protect components installed in your cabinet or enclosure from excessively low temperatures and prevent condensation occurring in the cabinet as a result of wide fluctuations in temperature or increased humidity. AMS Technologies offers heaters with fan or without fan for different DC and AC operating voltages like 12 to 24 VDC, 230 VAC or 110 to 240 VAC.
With their self-regulating PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient ) heating elements, our cabinet heaters allow for a wide voltage range, reduce surface temperature and feature an increased service life. The thermal output power capacity of the heaters ranges from 10 W up to 650 W. Our series of ceramic micro heaters provides temperatures of up to +1600°C in a very small volume, ideal for processing of optical fibers into tapered fibers or optical fiber couplers.
With the series of flexible electrical heating elements we do not only supply heaters but a complete thermal management solution for surface heating substrates – customized to your project’s heating requirements. Together with our supplier, we can deliver fully assembled and tested heater units, combining etched foil heaters and thermal protection systems with heatsink design. Alternatively, a simple flexible heater mat can be supplied in any shape and almost any size, voltage and wattage with lead assemblies and connectors. Definition
Cabinets and enclosures used in unheated rooms or outdoors are often equipped with heaters or heating elements. The main goal is to prevent the formation of condensation within the enclosed volume. For outdoor applications in cold climate, heaters are also used to prevent the temperature of the components inside a cabinet from dropping too low.
Heaters are usually powered by electrical current, supplied from either DC or AC voltages. While heaters for 230 VAC or 115 VAC are ideal to use within cabinets powered from mains, 12 VDC and 24 VDC models are aiming at mobile applications or industrial process equipment with 24 VDC power supplies.
