The mLC-C-450-24-KIT is a sealed vapor compression circuit with a speed controlled miniature rotary BLDC compressor. The evaporator is a brazed plate heat exchanger, the interface to the customer liquid coolant circuit. The mLC-C-450-24-KIT comes with the separate 24 VDC inverter board. The compressor speed can be set from the upper control system by frequency or analog signal. The condenser is an aluminum finned copper tube heat exchanger coil and must be cooled by forced convection, i.e. a 120x120 mm fan or equivalent. The heat exchanger stainless steel plates are nickel brazed suitable for a variety of coolant fluids, such as water, DI water and glycol-water mixtures. The plate heat exchanger has male R ¼” connectors for the customer to connect its water circuit.
The mLC-C-450-24-KIT’s condenser is an aluminum finned copper tube heat exchanger coil and must be cooled by forced convection, i.e. a 120x120 mm fan or equivalent. AMS Technologies’ mLC-KITs are liquid cooling development platforms featuring sealed vapor compression circuits with speed-controlled miniature rotary BLDC compressors. Brazed plate heat exchangers serve as evaporators and provide the interface to the customer liquid coolant circuit.
Our mLC-KITs are available with two cooling capacity levels: the ultra-compact mLC-C-450-24-KIT is designed for cooling tasks up to 450 W, while the larger mLC-C-1200-24-KIT provides up to 1200 W cooling capacity. Both mLC-KITs come with inverter boards that require a 24 VDC power supply. The compressors’ speed can be set from the upper control system by frequency or analog signal. The condenser is an aluminum finned copper tube heat exchanger coil.
The mLC-KITs must be cooled by forced convection, i. e. 120 × 120 mm fan. The mLC-C-1200-24-KIT 1200 is already equipped with a fan. AMS Technologies provides miniature air cooling kits that allow customers to evaluate cabinet cooling solutions with up to 460 W cooling capacity, as well as a miniature, compressor-based air cooler with 400 W cooling capacity.
Our mAC-C-400-24 mini Air Cooler is a compact, compressor-based cabinet cooler for cooling capacities up to 400 W that takes over where Peltier isn’t powerful enough. Its integrated controller drives the speed of the miniature rotary compressor to maintain the set temperature to within ±0.05 K. A powerful fan moves the cabinet internal air at 130 m³/h. The external fan is PWM speed controlled for noise reduction. Miniature rotary compressors as well as customized condensers and evaporators significantly reduce size and weight compared to Peltier-based cabinet coolers, while providing a highly efficient vapor compression circuit.
The mAC-C-400-24 can be operated on the cabinet’s 24 VDC voltage rail, independent of mains voltage or frequency. And the mAC-C-400-24 is “IoT ready” – an integrated Ethernet interface allows remote access to system parameters as well as remote control of the cooling system via web browser.
Our mAC-T-460-24-KIT mini Air Cooling Kit, a powerful thermoelectric cabinet cooler development kit, is the optimal solution for harsh environments where compressor-based coolers cannot withstand high temperatures, shock and vibration or operation on moving or turning equipment.
The Peltier modules can be operated up to 36 VDC when necessary. At nominal 24 VDC and +35°C/+35°C (ambient/internal), the unit reaches a cooling capacity of 460 W and a coefficient of performance (COP) of 0,55.

Flush Mount Liquid Based Cabinet Coolers
Designed to cool overheating electrical panels and enclosures to below the outside ambient air temperature, our below ambient heat exchangers easily replace air conditioners and compressed air coolers. Using a specially designed open loop core, these units remove waste heat from the cabinet and cool the internal air to the temperature of the water (also below ambient temperature) circulating through the heat exchanger’s core, using only 4 l/min water source for most units. These below ambient cooling heat exchangers are easy to install and maintain. They feature isoloss gaskets that seal against the enclosure and keep contaminants out. Below ambient cooling units are typically mounted on the side of the enclosure and can be used in series as needed. With our UL LISTED 12, 4 or 4x units, they lend themselves well to being used in 508a applications. Heat exchanger designed to be mounted to the outside of the enclosure. It can be mounted upright to the sides and does not have any components that protrude inside of the enclosure other than the power cord. It requires a 1 gallon per minute water source to properly cool the enclosure.
