Teem Photonics’ ANx PicoOne and PicoMega amplified DPSS laser series is based on a microchip seeder and an efficient MOFA (Master Oscillator Fiber Amplifier) amplification stage. These lasers produce 650 or even 170 ps pulses at frequencies in excess of 100 kHz with a peak power exceeding 38 kW at 1064 nm. The laser operates with a single emission frequency.
The Passively Q-switched (PQS) microchip laser technology and fiber amplification brought together with this laser series offers full control over the pulse energy (or peak power) while leaving unchanged the pulse width and pulse shape. Other seeders may also be used if different characteristics are required.
The ANP-20E PicoOne amplified laser produces pulses of 1064 nm light with a nearly Gaussian beam output and an average power reaching 1.75 W, while the ANG-10E PicoOne amplified laser produces pulses of 532 nm light with an average power reaching 700 mW. Using the same platform as the PicoOne Series, the ANG-150P-000 PicoMega amplified laser brings passive Q-switching to a new realm. It generates ultra-short pulses (down to 120 ps) at repetition rates reaching 150 kHz. From LIDAR to high-throughput processing – in applications where ultra-short pulse width is a “must”, the PicoMega laser has a low cost of ownership compared to more complex ps lasers. It can be used as a seeder in applications where still higher power is needed.

Teem Photonics’ HNx PicoSpark™ Series of amplified microchip DPSS lasers combines multi-watt average output power level with high repetition rate and exceptional pulse characteristics to provide the best price/quality ratio for micromachining applications.
Passively Q-switched (PQS) microchip laser technology and fiber amplification are brought together, delivering pulses with hundreds of kW peak power and hundreds of GW per cm² power density in a sealed and air-cooled, compact package – with the controller included.
This Master Oscillator Fiber Amplifier (MOFA) architecture notably offers full control over the pulse energy (or peak power) while leaving unchanged the pulse width and pulse shape . An Acousto Optic Modulator (AOM) option is also available to offer a rapid control of the repetition rate without distortion of the pulse and high energy stability from the first pulse on.
While the HNP-70F amplified laser produces 550 ps pulses of 1064 nm light at 70 kHz with an average power reaching 5 W, the HNG-70F amplified laser produces sub-500 ps pulses of 532 nm light at 70 kHz with an average power reaching 4 W. The lasers operate with a single emission frequency.

Mid-IR Widely Tunable OPO Source

Based on an orientation-patterned GaAs crystal, Teem Photonics’ Mid-IR, Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) pulsed source combines a wide spectral tunability, from 7.5 µm to 13 µm or 3 µm to 5 µm, with a very narrow linewidth down to 100 MHz. With the optional additional Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA) stage, the source also features high peak power (100 W) and an energy of 4 µJ per pulse.
This OPO source converts the input signal from a 2 μm pump laser into a tunable Mid-IR beam using a nonlinear crystal. Its single longitudinal mode output features a kHz repetition rate and a few tens of ns of pulse duration.
One of the widely tunable OPO source’s main applications is LIDAR remote gas detection in the whole LWIR or MWIR spectral region – implemented in a LIDAR system and tested in the field, the source allowed to successfully detect different toxic gas at a distance of 300 m.

Teem Photonics’ MNx Series of ultra-compact microchip DPSS lasers covers the mid infrared (IR) to visible (VIS) part of the spectrum. The lasers integrate the pump diode, the micro cavity and even the second harmonic generation crystal in a package less than 7 cm long.
The MNG-03E-100 is a 532 nm microchip laser which produces sub-nanosecond pulses and achieves a very good harmonic conversion efficiency with pulses displaying several kW peak power in a 750 ps pulse duration. It is housed in a 6.8 cm long package.
The MNP-08E-100 is an economical, compact, and reliable 1064 nm microchip laser producing sub-nanosecond pulses with several kW peak power.
The MNE-06E-100 is an eye safe 1535 nm laser which integrates the pump diode and the micro-cavity in a 10 cm long package. It produces more than 1 kW of peak power in a few nanoseconds pulse duration.
