Manufacturer "Teem Photonics"
Founded in 1998, Teem Photonics’ competences span from R&D to series manufacturing to supplying industrial customers all over the world. With headquarters and main facility located near Grenoble, a hot bed of technology firms and European research laboratories in the French Alps, Teem Photonics proposes microchip lasers as well as integrated photonic products. Performance is key to the company’s success: Teem Photonics produces ultrashort pulse lasers (with pulse durations deep in the sub-ns range) featuring very compact form factors and excellent beam characteristics, from the near infrared down to 213 nm. Teem Photonics’ passive-Q-switch technology and processes deliver a very low level of laser failures with proven lifetimes over 100,000 hours in the IR and over 20,000 hours in the UV domains. FOS-1000 Fiber Optic Switches
1x4-1x36; Fiber Type SM, MM, PM; 1250-1670 nm; Typ. Insertion Loss 0.4, 1 dB; Adjacent Port Isolation >50 dB; Switching Time 0.5 ms With the FOS-1000 series, OZ Optics now provides turnkey, rack-mountable optical switches with built-in electronics and color touch screen. The switch is offered in a 1x4 to 1x36 configuration. It can be customized with two independent optical switches in one rack mount. The standard units are configured with 9/125 um single mode (SM) fiber for broad operating wavelengths covering 1250 nm to 1670 nm. These switches are built using mature and highly reliable MEMS technology, achieving a low insertion loss and high channel isolation. The FOS-1000 fiber optic switches have been tested over millions of switching cycles with no change in losses. They are ideal for test instruments. FOS-1000 systems come with a USB interface port. Systems with polarization maintaining (PM) fiber or multi mode (MM) fiber can be offered on a case-by-case basis using different mechanical switch technologies. Contact AMS Technologies with your specific product requirement.
