NOA 84 Optical Adhesive 1oz bottle

Product information "NOA 84 Optical Adhesive 1oz bottle"

Refractive Index 1.46; 40-75 cps Viscosity at 25°C

Norland Optical Adhesive NOA 84 is a clear, colorless, liquid photopolymer that will cure when exposed to ultraviolet light and or visible light (blue-violet). Since it is a one part system and 100% solids, it offers many advantages in bonding where the adhesive can be exposed to UV light. The use of NOA 84 eliminates premixing, drying or heat curing operations common to other adhesive systems. Curing time is remarkably fast, and is dependent upon the thickness applied and the amount of ultraviolet light energy available.

NOA 84 is designed to give the best possible optical bond when using plastic to plastic or plastic to glass substrates. NOA 84 has excellent adhesion to CR-39, polarized film, Delrin®, nylon, cellulose acetatebutyrate, polycarbonate, acrylics and glass.

NOA 148 Optical Adhesive 1oz bottle
Refractive Index 1.48; 1500-2000 cps Viscosity at 25°C Norland Optical Adhesive 148 is clear liquid adhesive that will cure when exposed long wavelength ultraviolet light. NOA 148 is recommended for bonding glass to glass. Adhesion is also good to cellulose acetate butyrate. NOA 148 is cured by ultraviolet light between 315 and 395 nm. Full cure requires 6 Joules/cm2. The adhesive exhibits oxygen inhibition and must be cured under an inert atmosphere if used as a coating to assure surface is tack free.Typical Properties of NOA 148 Color Clear Keep NOA 148 in a cool (5-22°C) dark place. If refrigerated, allow the adhesive to come to room temperature before using.
