Norland Optical Adhesive 144 is clear liquid adhesive that will cure when exposed long wavelength ultraviolet light. NOA 144 is recommended for bonding glass to glass. Adhesion is also good to cellulose acetate butyrate. NOA 144 is cured by ultraviolet light between 315 and 395 nm. Peak absorption is 365nm. Full cure requires 6 Joules/cm2. The adhesive exhibits oxygen inhibition and must be cured under an inert atmosphere if used as a coating to assure surface is tack free.
