Made of special plastic, the laser safety eyewear ONTOR is the perfect solution to wear over prescription glasses. The black/grey ONTOR frame offers a large field of vision as well as lateral impact protection. The temples of the laser safety goggles can be adjusted in length and inclination. A removable soft and rubberized face foam improves the wearing comfort.

The model 000-K0337-ONTO-52 features the laser safety filter #0337 by PROTECT-Laserschutz, making it suitable in particular for dye lasers. The filter 0337 covers additional wavelengths as well. The laser safety filter consists of a pink polycarbonate and offers a visual light transmission (VLT) of more than 10 % and a minor filter thickness. The laser safety filter is CE certified in accordance with the requirements of EN 207.

The arrays are manufactured using precision silicon wafer V-Groove technology or Pyrex V-Groove in conjunction with a Pyrex lid, enabling sub-micron alignment accuracy with UV cure attachment capabilities. VGA series V-Groove array assemblies are available with single mode (SM), multi mode (MM) or PANDAtype polarization maintaining (PM) fibers. Customization can even include different types of fibers assembled into a single array. In general, OZ Optics uses polarization maintaining fibers based on the PANDA fiber structure when building polarization maintaining components and patch cords.
