UTARGET™ is a series of powerful, flexible and portable UV LED spot curing systems especially designed by UWAVE for manual UV curing processes. Thanks to its own integrated optical system with lens positioning possibilities for focalized to collimated UV light, this UV LED pen series provides high irradiance and high optical flexibility.

The UV LED head has been uniquely designed to create an infinite range of spot sizes without any additional costs. The position of the optics is adjustable to perfectly fit the spot size to your application. Available wavelengths include 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm and 405 nm. Any other wavelength (UV-C, UV-B, Visible and IR) is available upon request, please contact AMS Technologies for further details.

A control system directly integrated into the body of the UTARGET™ LED spot curing system allows to adapt the UV LED head’s irradiance level to your application quickly and easily in nine different power level steps up to 1,900 mW/cm².

These combined features make UTARGET™ tools suitable for a wide range of manual or automated UV curing and bonding processes. For manual applications, the UTARGET™ UV LED spot curing system is delivered in a kit in a complete & easy-to-handle case containing all the required equipment for a quick and safe use:

  • Desktop Holder

To go even further with this approach, an automated version of the UTARGET™ UV LED spot curing system is available, allowing for integration in automated or semi-automated assembling lines. Thanks to its electronical structure, this automated version can be directly managed by a PLC, or it can be connected to an adapted UPOWER™ power supply.

Fluorescence Option: Thanks to the use of an adapted optical filter, the 365 nm UTARGET-FLUO™ can be upgraded for fluorescence and other non-destructive applications. This option allows to obtain a compact and easy-to-use fluorescence lamp for visual inspection operations. Any other fluorescence wavelengths (UV-C, UV-B, UV-A) are available upon request, please contact AMS Technologies for further details.

The UTARGET™ LED has a much higher output power stability than other technologies and does not emit infrared radiation, thus heat-sensitive materials can be processed. UV LEDs are eco-friendly as they do not create ozone, do not contain mercury and only need a few watts to operate.
