UWAVE has designed the USPOT™ series of powerful & robust UV LED spot curing systems to be integrated in automated production lines. Thanks to its efficient optical system, high optical power and smart design, USPOT™ series UV LED spots can be easily fit to OEM and integrators needs.
With up to 4,000 mW/cm² optical power, the USPOT™ series also performs very well in curing high-precision dots of glue and coating over large thicknesses. An integrated smart optical system allows to work at large working distances (several dozens of centimeters), while maintaining a high UV output power. A “window option” also allows delivery without this optical system to provide a more compact, affordable and dispersive UV LED spot curing system.
Available wavelengths include 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm and 405 nm. In addition to that, UWAVE has developed a UV-C LED version of the USPOT™ series to meet actual concerns on contamination and spread of virus and bacteria. Equipped with the best 275 nm LED in the market (up to 140 mW/cm²), this model “USPOT-275-WINDOW” allows a quick & efficient disinfection process for automated lines or R&D tests. For powering and controlling the USPOT™ systems, UWAVE provides different types of UPOWER™ UV LED power supply & control units for different requirements. UWAVE has designed its products to fit OEM and system integrator requirements. Thus, it is possible to control USPOT™ systems directly from the PLC (Programmable Logic Control) to facilitate integration into production lines. Many options are available such as temperature monitoring or the control of UV irradiance and time of exposure.
The USPOT™ LED has a much higher output power stability than other technologies and does not emit infrared radiation, thus heat-sensitive materials can be processed. UV LEDs are eco-friendly as they do not create ozone, do not contain mercury and only need a few watts to operate.
