The USHARP™ series UV LED spot curing systems are homogeneous & precise LED spots, suitable for low-power UV curing, fluorescence & photolithography applications. With these systems, UWAVE provides a solution that can be either adapted for manual processes or integrated in automated lines.
Three different optical systems (far field, medium field, near field) can be mounted onto the USHARP™ to get different optical performances (power, homogeneity, size...). With this integrated optical system, users can adjust the UV spot size while keeping the same working distance. This will result in a very precise UV illumination profile with very little losses of irradiance. Intermediate positions allow to illuminate with a different spot size with one single optical system.
Available wavelengths include 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm and 405 nm. Any other wavelength (UV-C, UV-B, Visible and IR) is available upon request, please contact AMS Technologies for further details.
For powering and controlling the USHARP™ systems, UWAVE provides different types of UPOWER™ UV LED power supply & control units for different requirements. UWAVE has designed its products to fit OEM and system integrator requirements. Thus, it is possible to control USHARP™ systems directly from the PLC (Programmable Logic Control). Many options are available such as temperature monitoring or the control of UV irradiance and time of exposure.
The USHARP™ LED has a much higher output power stability than other technologies and does not emit infrared radiation, thus heat-sensitive materials can be processed. UV LEDs are eco-friendly as they do not create ozone, do not contain mercury and only need a few watts to operate.
