The OLS5 series is a liquid level sensor for single point liquid level detection. The sensor has an infra-red emitter and detector aligned within an accurately shaped cone to give good optical coupling when the sensor is in air. This coupling is greatly reduced, when the sensor is immersed in liquid, as the infra-red light escapes through the liquid rather than being reflected back to the detector.

The sensor has a transistor output, so it can be configured by the user for particular applications. Output is via TTL compatible push pull output.

LLF40 Series Horizontal Float Switches

The LLF40 series is designed as a compact internal fitting device, with a wide range of options, making this ideal for size sensitive applications. Mounting of this series requires access to the inside of the tank. These devices are particularly suitable for detecting low levels of liquids in the bottom of tanks and containers, and for lower SG liquids. Typical applications include vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units. RSF10 Series Horizontal Float Switches

Plastic; Internal Mount Drop Float Switches The RSF10 series drop Float Switch has been designed to eliminate problems associated with limescale build up around the pivot point of a conventional float switch. It is also suitable in more viscous liquids, that might affect the pivot action of a standard float type. The drop float actuator allows the switch housing and float pivots to be located above the surface of the liquid and provides normally closed switch contact, opening as the liquid level rises.
