NOA 76 Optical Adhesive 10g syringe

Product information "NOA 76 Optical Adhesive 10g syringe"

Refractive Index 1.51; 3500-5500 cps Viscosity at 25°C

Norland Optical Adhesive 76 (NOA 76 10g syringe), also known as NOA 76A, is an optically clear, liquid adhesive that will cure when exposed to long wavelength ultraviolet light. It is also sensitive to visible light between 400 - 450 nanometers which will assist in producing faster cures when curing through UV absorbing materials. This one part, moderate viscosity adhesive is 100% solids and offers advantages in optical bonding applications. The use of NOA 76 eliminates premixing, drying or heat curing operations common to other adhesive systems.

NOA 76 is recommended for bonding glass to plastic. The adhesive has best adhesion with plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate and cellulose acetate butyrate with typical applications being glass to plastic bonding or laminating polarized film between glass.

NOA 78 Optical Adhesive 10g syringe
Refractive Index 1.50; 8000-11000 cps Viscosity at 25°C Norland Optical Adhesive 78 (10g syringe) is a clear, colorless, liquid photopolymer that will cure when exposed to ultraviolet light or visible light (blue-violet). Since it is a one part system and 100% solids, it offers many advantages in bonding where the adhesive can be exposed to UV light. The use of NOA 78 eliminates premixing, drying or heat curing operations common to other adhesive systems. Curing time is remarkably fast, and is dependent upon the thickness applied and the amount of ultraviolet light energy available.NOA 78 is designed to give the best possible optical bond when using plastic to plastic or plastic to glass substrates. NOA 78 has excellent adhesion to CR-39, polarized film, Delrin®, nylon, cellulose acetate butyrate, polycarbonate and acrylics.Typical Properties of NOA 78 Color Slight yellow tint Modulus (psi) 1140 Tensile (psi) 649 Elongation at failure 57% Hardness - Shore D 55 Dielectric Constant at 1 MHz 4.87 Dissipation Factor at 1 MHz .0.092 Volume Resistivity (ohm/cm) 22 x 10 to the 15 power Surface Resistivity (Megohms) 2.05 x 10 to the 12 power Dielectric Strength (volts) 624  NOA 78 can withstand temperatures from -20C to 60C.Shelf life of the liquid is at least 4 months from the date of shipment if stored in a cool (5-20C), dark place in the original container.
