A high quality coolant is extremely important for addressing dissimilar metals and biologic growth (bacterial and algae) long-term. Koolance liquids will not clog components and can typically be used for 2-3 years before replacement is recommended. Refractive Index 1.315; 15 cps Viscosity at 25°CNorland Optical Adhesive 1315 is clear liquid adhesive that will cure when exposed long wavelength ultraviolet light. NOA 1315 is recommended for bonding for glass to glass. Adhesion is also good to cellulose acetate butyrate. NOA 1315 is cured by ultraviolet light between 320 to 450 nm. Full cure requires 6 Joules/cm 2. The adhesive exhibits oxygen inhibition when used exposed to air. To overcome this the adhesive must be cured under an inert atmosphere, such as nitrogen. When used as a coating the liquid adhesive's temperature must be kept below 9C to prevent vaporization.Typical Properties of NOA 1315Temperature Range-15°C to 90°CKeep NOA 1315 in a cool ( 5 to 20°C) dark place. If refrigerated, allow the adhesive to come to room temperature before using.
