Mightex’s FCS-Series of high-power fiber-coupled LED light sources employ the latest high-power LED technologies and a proprietary coupling optics to achieve maximum optical output power. The series’ optical output is coupled into a fiber through a standard SMA fiber adapter port (SMA fiber patchcords are sold separately).
FCS-Series LED light sources also feature a locking electrical connector for secured connection. FCS-Series are designed as a universal light source for general lab use and OEM applications. The one-piece machined housing features multiple mounting holes.
To drive a FCS-Series LED light source, any one of the wide range of Mightex’s software-controlled LED controllers such as the SLC-Series , but also manual and other LED controllers can be used. For deep UV LED light sources with an operating current rating of <50 mA, it is strongly recommended to use the following LED controllers for driving the LEDs:
- Software controlled LED controllers, Model No. SLC-FA04-US, or
- Manual LED driver, Model No. SLA-0100-2
