NTT Advanced Technology Corporation’s CLETOP series of fiber optical connector cleaners removes dirt you can’t even see, without scratching the connector’s end face. Designed to work with dedicated microfiber tissue, the CLETOP series of fiber optical connector cleaners allows all operators to consistently achieve high quality cleaning without alcohol or other solvents. All CLETOP cleaning tools are palm-sized and lightweight as well as easy and safe to use whether in the engineering lab, on the production line or in the field. With CLETOP A Type, CLETOP B Type, CLETOP MT-RJ Type and CLETOP MPO Type, the CLETOP line of cassette lever type fiber optical connector cleaners provides a line-up of four different variants to match different types of optical connectors. Its dustproof shutter allows you to open a new cleaning surface with a one-action lever no matter what working environment you are in. The cleaning tape in the cassette shows excellent anti-static properties to avoid reattachment of dust to the ferrule after cleaning. The tape is replaceable and cost effective, one cleaning tape can be used for over 400 wipes.

The CLETOP-S line of cassette click type fiber optical connector cleaners provides a line-up of two variants to match different types of optical connectors. Also equipped with a dustproof shutter, its light touch opening grip allows for even greater ease of use for the operator. The tape in the cassette shows excellent anti-static properties for static sensitive applications and can be replaced very easily by a "drop-in" cartridge. With its one-push operation, the CLETOP-S line devices are available for both left-handed and right-handed operators. With the CLETOP Stick line of stick type fiber optical connector cleaners, users can easily remove contamination on adapter ferrule end face. Featuring 1.25 mm, 2.0 or 2.5 mm ends (single and mixed/dual end types available), the CLETOP Stick line of fiber optical connector cleaners is ideal for cleaning optical composite connectors (LEMO brand, Tajimi electronics brand, etc.) for video equipment. All four variants are easy to use, very efficient and deliver a consistently high level of cleaning performance. With the CLETOP Stick line, users can easily clean ferrule end-faces inside the plug-in fiber-optic connectors and various adaptors – the sticks are even suitable for cleaning inside adaptors due to dust control.

POP-311 Portable Polishers
High-speed, Portable Polisher for Field Assembly; Connector/Ferrule Type SC, MU, FC, LC, MT, MTRJ, Custom; Radius of Curvature 10 to 25 mm; Apex Offset <50 µm; Return Loss >50 dBNTT Advanced Technology Corporation’s POP-311 series of high-speed portable polishers is suitable for installing optical connectors or extending optical fibers at field work site. Its cylinder jig allows for on-site polishing / re-polishing of MPO connectors and single fiber connectors.High polishing quality equivalent to that of factory use polishers can be achieved. The POP-311 high-speed portable polishers are able to polish connectors at very high velocity – up to 700 revolutions per minute. The POP-311 series is also suitable for re-polishing of MT connectors. When optical fiber connectors due to be laid are found to be damaged, on the spot repolishing makes them ready to be used. Also, LC-Duplex connectors can be simultaneously polished without dismantling. With only three to five processes, polishing MPO connectors and single fiber connectors can easily be done on location. For example, the polishing procedure from adhesive removal to advanced PC polish takes about 150 seconds (SC connector/terminal), while advanced PC polish by re-polishing takes only about 50 seconds (SC connector/terminal). Applicable connectors/ferrules are SC, MU, FC, LC, MT and MTRJ type optical connectors and glass ferrules. A broad range of attachments is available for the various different connector types. Since the attachments are the same as for the factory use ATP-3000 polishing machine, they can be used for a wide range applications such as MPO connectors and single fiber connectors (UPC/APC), and polishing of all types of capillaries and fibers. Widely accessible rechargeable nickel hydride battery (AA) or alkaline dry battery (AA) can be used as power supply.Key Features:Suitable for MT, MTRJ, SC, MU, FC and LC ConnectorsHigh Quality- Battery OperatedHigh Speed PolishingApplications: Optical Connector Polishing (for re-polishing and new polishing processes)

CMH Ceramic Micro Heaters
Max. Temperature +1,600 °C; Voltage 15 to 19 VAC; Current 5,8 to 7 A; Length 19, 22 mm; Width x Height 20 x 25 mm; Internal Diameter of Heat Core 2 mmNTT Advanced Technology Corporation’s CMH series of ceramic micro heaters provides temperatures of up to +1,600 °C in a very small, cylindrical volume. Powered by AC current with a power of approximately 100 W, a tubular ceramic micro-heating element with an internal diameter of 2 mm generates these high temperatures over a length of 19 (CMH-7019) or 22 mm (CMH-7022).In order to focus the heating energy in this small volume and to minimize the losses to the environment, the actual heating element is enclosed in a very high heat resistant ceramic material. An approx. 1 mm wide gap in this material on one side makes the laterally open, tubular heating element accessible from the outside. The main application of ceramic micro heaters is the processing of optical fibers, which can be inserted into the ceramic micro heater through the lateral gap. Tapering of optical fibers, for example, involves heating a small area of the fiber to a high temperature while the fiber is gently stretched as evenly as possible. This procedure reduces the diameter of fiber and core in the heated area, resulting in a tapered fiber. Another application of ceramic micro heaters is the production of fiber couplers.Key Features:Ideal for Heating-up Optical FibersIdeal for Manufacturing of Tapered Optical Fibers or Optical Fiber CouplersOperated by Electric CurrentTemperatures of up to +1,600 °C Can Be GeneratedPrecise Temperature ControlHeating Element Inner Diameter: 2 mmTwo Lengths Available: 19 mm (CMH-7019) and 22 mm (CMH-7022)Width: 25 mm, Height: 20 mmApplications: Heating-up Optical Fibers; Manufacturing of Tapered Optical Fibers; Manufacturing of Optical Fiber Couplers
