OZ Optics provides a variety of male connectors to perform your own fiber terminations. Connectors are available for Single Mode (SM) Fibers (SMPC series), Multi Mode (MM) Fibers (MMPC series), or Polarization Maintaining (PM) Fibers (PMPC series).

OZ Optics’ connectors are precision made and tested to exacting standards to ensure top performance. The connectors have been tested in a variety of applications and environment conditions, from medical equipment to industrial lasers, underwater and in space.

OZ Optics also provides OFOC termination kits – these kits provide all the tools necessary to make your own manual fiber terminations in the field.

Standard key width for both FC/PC and FC/APC connector kits is narrow key 2 mm type R, with a key width of 1.97 mm (min) to 2.02 mm (max). On request, the FC/PC connector kits are also available with wide key 2.2 mm type N (2.09 to 2,14 mm).  All these FC connector kits can be ordered either as multi-piece or pre-assembled one-piece versions. Try NTT-AT’s series of adhesives for optical waveguides! Within this series you find acrylate-based adhesives (AT6001, AT8224)with excellent durability that have cleared a large number of reliability tests. Epoxy adhesives are also part of this series, with a refractive index that can be accurately controlled within a range of 1.456 to 1.567 (±0.005, Na-D) – or with a fixed refractive index that is the same as quartz to deliver low reflectance (GA700L, GA700H). UV curing of the adhesives for optical waveguides allows for adhesion in a short time frame and makes alignment easy. The adhesives withstand a solder reflow process for Si Photonics (+260 °C). In order to achieve high reliability, a product must clear the tests conducted by the users themselves.
