Mushashi Engineering’s IMAGEMASTER 350PC Smart series of desktop gate-type dispensing robots with camera alignment and laser Z follow features PC control image recognition and provides a fusion dispensing “core” technologies with Musashi Engineering’s desktop robot platform.
With its automatic correction for individual differences in works and pallet array errors, the IMAGEMASTER 350 PC Smart series provides complete 3-D alignment, approximately 30% improvement in operation efficiency leading to significantly reduced labour time, yield improvement thanks to high-quality dispensing, as well as operability improvement and reduction in programming effort.
This series’ new edge-detection function with support for various work shapes allows for adjustment of the position of work using image processing in a broader range of conditions, including works that could not be detected previously. Coordination with the dispenser is improved by the SynchroSpeed™ function, achieving a constant drawing width that is independent of robot speed. Thus, high-quality dispensing is implemented without the need for complicated adjustments.
With its repetitive positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm, the IMAGEMASTER 350PC Smart series offers high levels of dispensing quality for enhanced yield. Available with X- and Y-axis working areas from 200 to 500 mm, these dispensing robots are suitable for a variety of workspace environments. Musashi Engineering’s IMAGEMASTER 350PC Smart series allows fully automated, high- 3-axial dispensing – for example dispensing various optical adhesives in photonics applications.
