G&H acousto-optic deflectors (AODF) provide precise spatial control of an optical beam, whether performing 1D or 2D scanning or executing beam deflection through a fixed angle. The acousto-optic deflectors offer highly uniform diffraction efficiency across the full scan angle, with consistent power throughput for scanning applications like material processing and digital imaging. Gooch & Housego offers a wide range of standard deflectors and RF drivers for wavelengths from 266-1500 nm.

Selecting the right RF driver is important to achieve the desired scanning speed and accuracy. Deflectors used in scanning or writing applications require a variable frequency source which is both stable and highly linear. 2D UV beam scanning may be achieved by cascading two UV deflectors in series. Gooch & Housego’s flexible functionality AODF Dual Driver with phase synchronized outputs offers the optimum in RF driver control for 2D scanning.

Siskiyou's gimbaled lens positioners cover a broad spectrum of optic configurations. The simple 2-axis models are the basis for more complex positioning requirements, including rotational positioning for polarizers or cylindrical lenses. IM.C2 Mirror Mounts
Kinematic Mechanism; Aluminum; Optic Size 12.7 mm (0.5 inch); 2-Axis Adjustment; 100TPI; Righ/Left Hand Version These industrial grade kinematic optic mounts offer exceptional performance with a wide variety of flexible options. Siskiyou IM05.2 series mounts use precision rolled 100TPI adjustment screws for excellent resolution and feel in the hand. The solid 3/8-inch thick aluminum back plate offers two 8-32 [M4] mounting options for right or left hand compatibility. These mounts use a full “L” cutaway back for maximum clear aperture. The IM05.C2 versions have a cutaway front face to optimize tight beam layouts, and are available in right hand or left hand versions. Within the back plate Siskiyou use their lockable 100TPI adjustment screws with hard carbide ball bearings that run on hardened rods to provide stable movement. These adjustment screws incorporate Siskiyou one wrench design for optic mounting, adjustment and locking. The 5⁄64 hex adjustment screws may be replaced by SoftTouch™ knobs for finger adjust-ment.
