NOA 78 Optical Adhesive 10g syringe
Refractive Index 1.50; 8000-11000 cps Viscosity at 25°C Norland Optical Adhesive 78 (10g syringe) is a clear, colorless, liquid photopolymer that will cure when exposed to ultraviolet light or visible light (blue-violet). Since it is a one part system and 100% solids, it offers many advantages in bonding where the adhesive can be exposed to UV light. The use of NOA 78 eliminates premixing, drying or heat curing operations common to other adhesive systems. Curing time is remarkably fast, and is dependent upon the thickness applied and the amount of ultraviolet light energy available.NOA 78 is designed to give the best possible optical bond when using plastic to plastic or plastic to glass substrates. NOA 78 has excellent adhesion to CR-39, polarized film, Delrin®, nylon, cellulose acetate butyrate, polycarbonate and acrylics.Typical Properties of NOA 78 Color Slight yellow tint Modulus (psi) 1140 Tensile (psi) 649 Elongation at failure 57% Hardness - Shore D 55 Dielectric Constant at 1 MHz 4.87 Dissipation Factor at 1 MHz .0.092 Volume Resistivity (ohm/cm) 22 x 10 to the 15 power Surface Resistivity (Megohms) 2.05 x 10 to the 12 power Dielectric Strength (volts) 624  NOA 78 can withstand temperatures from -20C to 60C.Shelf life of the liquid is at least 4 months from the date of shipment if stored in a cool (5-20C), dark place in the original container. If refrigerated, allow the adhesive to come to room temperature prior to use.

NOA 71 Optical Adhesive 10g syringe
Refractive Index 1.56; 200 cps Viscosity at 25°C Norland Optical Adhesive 71 ("NOA71") is an optically clear, liquid adhesive that will cure when exposed to long wavelength ultraviolet light (10g syringe). The adhesive is a one-part, 100% solids material that offers advantages in bonding applications that require optical clarity or require fast cure times and long term stability over a wide range of temperatures. The use of NOA 71 eliminates premixing, drying, or heat curing operations common to other adhesive systems.NOA 71 was formulated to provide a strong bond to glass surfaces. This adhesive can also be used for adhering to other substrates, such as metal, fiber- glass, and glass filled plastics. Typical applications are laminating solar cells, holographic plates, flat panel displays and touch screens or as a clear coating on plastic or metal.NOA 71 is cured with long wavelength UV light from 315 to 400 nanometers with peak absorption at 365 nm. The amount of energy required for full cure is 3.5 Joules/sq. cm of UV light. Typical Properties of NOA 71 Solids 100% Elongation at Failure 43% Modulus of Elasticity (psi) 55,000 Tensile Strength (psi) 1,300 Hardness - Shore D 86 Dielectric Constant (1 MHz) 4.0 Dielectric Strength (V/mil) 456 The shelf life of NOA 71 liquid is at least 4 months from the date of shipment if kept in a cool (5-22° C), dark place in the original container. If refrigerated, allow the adhesive to come to room temperature prior to use.

NOA 86H Optical Adhesive 10g syringe
Refractive Index 1.55; 250-350 cps Viscosity at 25°C Norland Optical Adhesive 86H is an adhesive that will cure optically clear when exposed to long wavelength ultraviolet or visible light (blue-violet) or heat. The adhesive has low viscosity and meets the Bellcore specifications of 85C/85RH for 2000 hours as well as being USP Class VI biocompatible NOA 86H is recommended for bonding glass or plastic. NOA 86H is cured by ultraviolet light between 315 to 400 nanometers and visible light between 400 to 420 nanometers. The peak absorption wavelengths are 325, 365 and 400 nanometers. Minor absorption wavelengths are 410 and 420 nm. Full cure requires 2.5 Joules/cm 2 .In addition to the UV cure, NOA 86H contains a latent heat catalyst that can quickly cure areas that do not see the ultraviolet light. The catalyst allows the adhesive to cure in 10 minutes at 125°C in a convection oven, or 3 hours at 80°C. Faster cure times are possible with infrared ovens. Areas in contact with air will cure tacky unless exposed to UV light or given the 125°C cure. Temperatures less than 80°C will not activate the adhesive. The advantage of the heat cure is to bring partially cured adhesive to full cure to get the maximum physical properties of the adhesive. The heat cure is not required if all the adhesive receives proper exposure to UV or visible light. Typical Properties of NOA 86H Temperature Range -125°C to 125°C Elongation at Failure 2.8 % Modulus of Elasticity (psi) 360,400 Tensile Strength (psi) 7,834 Hardness - Shore D 75 75 Shelf life of the liquid is a minimum of 6 months from the date of shipment, refer to the package label for the actual expiration date, if stored in a cool (5-22° C), dark place in the original container. If refrigerated, allow the adhesive to come to room temperature prior to use.
