1Cure Epoxy Curing Oven

Product information "1Cure Epoxy Curing Oven"

No. of Connectors 24-36; Resolution 0.1 °C; Accuracy ±2 °C; Max. Temperature +155 °C; Stability ±2 °C; Horizontal Curing 0°, +15°, -15°; Step-Cure Capability

Connected Fibers’ patented 1Cure is the industry’s first intelligent expoxy curing oven for both horizontal and vertical curing applications. The 1Cure oven features both soak and ramp temperature profile curing capability, a 4” full-color LCD touchscreen as well as network connectivity with remote programmability and access

The system stores up to 999 programs. The temperature of the actual connector fixture is monitored and controlled rather than the traditional method of monitoring the hot plate. This eliminates the temperature error created by the thermal offset between these two surfaces in a typical curing oven. 1Cure is also available with an optional advanced cooling system for reducing cycle times between ramp (step) cure profiles.

The ramp cure technology eliminates fiber cracking especially on larger core fibers by utilizing ramp and soak cycles. This significant advancement is useful for large-core and multi-fiber applications. It also allows to standardize on one epoxy for various applications by customizing time and temperature profiles.

The oven features a horizontal curing base with a removable 24 position fixture for MT (MPO) and a convertible lid providing cable access to a block to accommodate up to 96 single fiber termini (72 for the 1Cure-200) to cure in a vertical position. The internal 15° tilt mechanism for the horizontal cure will allow for 0° or 15° curing angle to prevent fibers from retreating during bare, buffered or ribbon fiber applications.

The 1Cure is designed by Connected Fibers to meet all industry performance and safety standards providing leading technology for the heat curing process of fiber optic termini. The oven is suited for all production environments and for all industry standard connectors and ferrules with use of heat-cure epoxies, including MT (MPO) connectors.

CM96x Pump Laser Modules
Single Chip; 973-977 nm; Spectral Width 0.2 nm; Max. Output Power 0.18-0.6 W; 10-pin Mini Butterfly Package; Threshold Current 50-60 mA Within the CM96x series, II-VI Incorporated offers a variety of single-chip pump laser modules addressing all areas of low-noise all-optical amplification and power consumption requirements. Increasingly, network providers are concerned with component density and power consumption which translates into cost of installation and cost of ownership of a network. To address this, II-VI Incorporated offers a suite of 980 nm pump lasers from uncooled, semi-cooled and traditional-cooled pumps over a set of market leading power ranges. CM96x series pump laser modules are designed as pump sources for erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) applications. Processes and techniques of coupling the fiber to the laser allow high output powers that are very stable with both time and temperature. The CM96x series uses a 10-pin mini-butterfly (mBTF) package with mounting holes for ease of integration and thermal management, enabling smaller form factor designs. The 10-pin mBTF package is backward compatible with 14pin BTF package footprint and pinout. CM96Z***-7* TEC-cooled, 10-pin butterfly, 980 nm pump laser modules utilize a fiber Bragg grating design for enhanced wavelength and power stability performance. This product has been designed to ensure superior wavelength locking over drive current, temperature and optical feedback changes. CM96Z***-7* devices are available with kink-free output powers to 600 mW. CML96Z***-7* is the low power consumption version of CM96Z***-7*. These pump modules operate at significantly reduced TEC and overall power consumption. CML96Z***-7* devices are also available with kink-free output powers to 600 mW. The UM96Z***-7* high power, extended temperature, uncooled, 980 nm pump laser are II-VI Incorporated’s third-generation uncooled pump modules providing higher powers and lower consumption. These lasers enable designers to create reliable SFF single- and multi-channel, high-bit-rate per-channel amplification as well as replace traditional cooled pumps in high-power EDFA applications with reduced power consumption. The UM96Z-series is designed for uncooled operation at high temperature and power levels. Qualification of the enhanced G08 chip ensures high reliability even at 460 mW operating power and +75 °C. External fiber Bragg grating (FBG) stabilization provides excellent wavelength and power stability over the entire operating temperature range.
