WHY56ND TEC Temperature Controllers
Product information "WHY56ND TEC Temperature Controllers"
Output Current TEC ±2.2 A; PCB Mount; Supply Voltage 5-26 VDC; Temperature Stability 0.005°C
Wavelength Electronics’ WHY56ND series of component style TEC temperature controllers are general purpose, low cost, analog PI (Proportional, Integral) control loops for use in thermoelectric or resistive heater temperature control applications. WHY56ND maintains precision temperature regulation using an active resistor bridge circuit that operates directly with thermistors or RTD temperature sensors.
The WHY56ND series is the new version of the discontinued WHY5640 series of temperature controllers.
Supply up to 2.2 A of heat and cool current to your thermoelectric from a single power supply. Connect two or more WHY56ND units together and drive higher output currents. A single resistor or trimpot sets the temperature setpoint. Independent heat and cool current limits are set by single resistors. A single resistor sets proportional gain. A resistor/capacitor in series sets the integrator time constant.
Accessories include a heatsink, thermal washer, fan and an evaluation board WHY56ND-EV. For TEC drivers with additional features like integrated remote voltage control and temperature monitor or integrated support of IC temperature sensors AD590 and LM335, please refer to Wavelength Electronics’ WTC32ND series. NOTE: WHY56ND and WTC32ND do NOT have the same pin configuration.
Free, effective and responsive technical support is available to simplify integration of Wavelength products into your OEM design.
