NorthLab’s USC LB large bowl ultrasonic cleaner is a purpose-built device, designed specifically for fiber optic applications, such as optical fiber splicing and glass processing. Many years of splicing experience went into the functional and ergonomic design that ensures consistent cleaning results.
The USC LB cleaner has a unique wide bowl design which accommodates cleaning of fibers or components up to 75 mm in length. Cleaning is accomplished by using a sweeping frequency that is optimized to target the various sizes of particles that adhere to the fiber.
Operation of the USC is easy and intuitive with audible and visual indicators which signal when the fiber should be removed. The intensity of cleaning can be adjusted quickly and easily to optimize results for different fiber types and sizes. Programmable presets can be provided for special applications.
