Oven Industries’ NTC thermistor temperature sensor probes can easily be integrated with any of Oven Industries’ temperature controllers or any pre-existing system you already have. Tolerances for Oven Industries’ temperature sensors can be as tight as ±0.1 °C (TR136 series). Available in sizes ranging from 1.5 mm diameter to 16 cm length or 2.5 cm2 and with a broad variety of head types from pure bead heads, cylindrical or flange mount heads all the way to 1/8” pipe plug or metal plate heads, these temperature sensors offer excellent versatility through a wide range of applications. Thermistor is a generic term describing a semiconductor device that exhibits an electrical conductivity that is highly sensitive to temperature. NTC thermistors show a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) with respect to their resistance characteristics versus temperature. In addition to their NTC characteristics, Oven Industries’ thermistor sensors are interchangeable from one thermistor to another per the specified tolerance – meaning in the event one is damaged, it can be swapped out with no need to recalibrate the thermal system. These tubed cold plates consist of copper or stainless steel tubes pressed into a channeled aluminum extrusion. This “Press-Lock” technology eliminates the need for performance-limiting epoxy between the tube and the plate, resulting in superior thermal performance. Each tubed cold plate has a single tube with no joint, ensuring leak-free operation.
