Siskiyou's gimbaled lens positioners cover a broad spectrum of optic configurations. The simple 2-axis models are the basis for more complex positioning requirements, including rotational positioning for polarizers or cylindrical lenses. All models use precision rolled 80TPI adjustment screws for pitch/yaw adjustment. The OG series of optical gimbal mounts is a compact and robust mounting platform for laser cavity applications. It uses color coded Soft Touch knob caps in both non-lockable and lockable versions. These knob caps are comfortable to use and provide quick axis location in low light conditions. The LDP laser diode positioner series is ideal for industrial applications.

The solid 3/8-inch thick aluminum back plate offers two 8-32 [M4] mounting options for right or left hand compatibility. These mounts use a full “L” cutaway back for maximum clear aperture. The IM05.C2 versions have a cutaway front face to optimize tight beam layouts, and are available in right hand or left hand versions. Within the back plate Siskiyou use their lockable 100TPI adjustment screws with hard carbide ball bearings that run on hardened rods to provide stable movement. These adjustment screws incorporate Siskiyou one wrench design for optic mounting, adjustment and locking. The 5⁄64 hex adjustment screws may be replaced by SoftTouch™ knobs for ﬁnger adjust-ment.
