Pure Photonics is a provider of 1550 nm tunable lasers with narrow 10 kHz linewidth and ultra-low FM noise. The tunable lasers provide a revolutionary change in laser solutions for many specialty applications, where the choice was limited to bulky tunable lasers and expensive fixed wavelength lasers. Pure Photonics breaks the paradigm by providing tunability with a high-volume, small form-factor and low-cost product. The Pure Photonics product portfolio is built around the ITLA based tunable laser with advance tuning features in low-noise mode.

The Pure Photonics tunable laser is founded on a volume-produced micro-ITLA tailored for the Telecom industry, guaranteeing top-notch performance, quality, and reliability. A telecom-grade variant with unaltered hardware and optimized firmware is available, alongside a sensor-grade option featuring optimized hardware and firmware with customizable features. These configurations allow for tailored adjustments in output power performance (up to 17 dBm for C-band and 16 dBm for L-band) and frequency range (up to 60 nm). Additionally, each version can be further augmented with available operating features such as modulation and fast tuning.
The low-noise tunable lasers are available either standalone, with an evaluation board (PPEB700), or integrated into select models such as the PPCL500 (or PPCL600), PPCL550 (or PPCL700), PPCL560 (featuring a DB-9 interface), or CoBrite enclosure. The comprehensive Pure Photonics full-band tunable laser solution boasts an exceptionally narrow linewidth (~10 kHz), markedly reduced low-frequency AM and FM noise, and a variety of operating modes within this low-noise realm. Moreover, the product facilitates access to any desired frequency set-point within the tuning range (C-band, L-band, or optionally up to 60 nm), with output power adjustable from as low as 7 dBm to as high as 18 dBm.
