Standard Peltier Elements
Standard Peltier Elements Peltier elements from Anvelt are solid-state thermoelectric modules designed for precise, reliable temperature control in industrial and scientific applications. Based on the thermoelectric effect, these modules generate a controlled heat flow when powered by direct current, enabling both cooling and heating without moving parts, refrigerants, or mechanical wear. Anvelt draws on long-standing expertise in thermoelectric manufacturing to deliver products that combine stable performance, mechanical robustness, and a high degree of design flexibility.Anvelt Peltier elements are engineered to support efficient thermal management across a wide range of operating conditions. Their construction is based on proven thermoelectric semiconductor materials, durable ceramic substrates, and reliable internal interconnections. This ensures predictable electrical and thermal behavior over extended service life, even under continuous operation. With a portfolio that includes standard designs as well as application-specific configurations, Anvelt Peltier elements are suited for both development projects and series production in demanding environments.Key features• Solid-state Peltier elements for cooling and heating without moving parts • Single-stage and multi-stage configurations for different temperature differentials • Wide range of standard sizes, geometries, and electrical ratings • Custom designs available for specific dimensions, power levels, and operating conditions • High-quality thermoelectric materials with stable electrical characteristics • Robust ceramic substrates for mechanical strength and thermal stability • Consistent unit-to-unit performance through controlled manufacturing processes • Low maintenance requirements and long operational lifetime • Suitable for continuous operation in industrial and laboratory systems ApplicationsAnvelt Peltier elements are used in a broad spectrum of applications requiring controlled heat transfer and precise temperature stabilization. In analytical and laboratory equipment, they support temperature regulation of detectors, sensors, and sample holders. In photonics and optoelectronics, Peltier elements are applied to stabilize laser diodes, optical assemblies, and imaging sensors, where thermal drift can directly affect performance.Industrial electronics benefit from localized cooling of components exposed to high thermal loads or fluctuating ambient conditions. Additional applications include environmental monitoring devices, compact refrigeration systems, medical and diagnostic equipment, and specialized enclosures requiring compact thermal control. Due to their solid-state design, Anvelt Peltier elements are well suited for mobile, orientation-independent systems and vibration-sensitive environments where compressor-based cooling is unsuitable. The combination of compact form factor, precise controllability, and scalable performance makes Anvelt Peltier elements a versatile solution for modern thermal management challenges across research and industrial sectors. What’s next?Selecting the appropriate Peltier element requires careful consideration of heat load, target temperature range, electrical supply, and heat dissipation strategy. Our sales and application specialists support you in choosing the right Anvelt Peltier element for your specific requirements, from standard modules to customized solutions. FPR Polarization Rotators, Controllers & Analyzers
Center Wavelength 440 to 1625 nm; Insertion Loss 0.8 to 2.5 dB; Return Loss ≥14 to ≥60 dB; Polarization Extinction Ratio 20, 25, 30; Fiber Type SM, Coating ≤400 µm; Max. Input Power 200 mW OZ Optics’ FPR line of polarization rotators, controllers and analyzers manipulate and control the state of polarization of an input beam of light and couple the adjusted light into an output fiber or detector. These systems typically consist of an input with fiber pigtail or connector receptacle, from one to three polarization optic components and an output coupler with fiber pigtail or connector receptacle. The FPR product line uses bulk waveplates and polarizing glass to accomplish the polarization control. Each polarization optic stage can be removed without loss of coupling. These stages may be replaced or interchanged as the application requires. Separate stages with polarization optics mounted in a rotary platform may be purchased to allow using only one fiber optic assembly for multiple applications. Three types of polarization optics are employed: Plate polarizers, with high extinction ratio and low loss, half wave plates rotating the plane of polarization and quarter wave plates changing the ellipticity of the input light. Consult AMS Technologies for special component performance requirements. For extreme applications, custom achromatic waveplates can be supplied that allow operation over wider bands. These components are much more expensive than simple waveplates and detailed requirements should be supplied to ensure the proper component is supplied. OZ Optics manufactures two standard sizes of FPR devices. The standard size uses 2.5" square rotational stages and is the preferred choice for applications where frequent adjustments must be made or repeatability is important. The miniature stage uses 1" stages to fit into tight spaces and is preferred for use in equipment boxes or where a single state needs to be found and subsequent alignment is minimal. Key Features: User-friendly Lab Package or Compact Package for Inside Systems Single Mode (SM), Multi Mode (MM) and Polarization Maintaining (PM) Fiber Versions Removable/Replaceable Optics (Interchangeable) Wide Range of Available Wavelengths High Polarization Extinction Ratio Convert Any Polarization State to Any Other Polarization State Compatible With Standard Detector Housings Applications: Laser to Fiber Coupling; Polarization Dependent Component or PM Fiber Testing; Fiber Amplifiers; Coherent Communications; Polarization Error Rate Measurements; PM Fiber Axis Conversion
